Update: 2/3/22We had our wedding meal here (July 2021) and the staff were absolutely amazing with everything they did to accommodate us. Came back again after an extended time away and they remembered us and welcomed us back with open arms. Food is still fantastic!!My partner and I love coming here - even though we aren't sports fans we're always made to feel welcome here. The food is absolutely fantastic and is an excellent price.

Really good food, woman who served us was excellent. Very knowledgeable about ingredients in all dishes and which ones were gluten free, never once said she didn’t know, she would need to check which was very refreshing. Really quick service and prices were good too. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

I was at Willie wastles this weekend, There must have been a new chef since last year... We ordered chicken tempura, It wasn't as good at all, Twas soggy and under cooked, and not a bit of chilli suace in sight like they used to, The Lasagna was mediocre, but at least the dessert ( cheesecake) was good.. but I don't think we will be back again..

Poorest meal out ever, chicken wasn't cooked properly, chips ok steak pie was greasy didn't taste or feel nice, pastry ok carrots were rancid!, not only rotted bits on them but butter they were covered in was off, peas were replaced with parsnip which I can't comment on as I don't like them, bread was not very fresh, a bit hard, they offered to take money of or have free pudding or to take money of billl, all of which were declined as won't be back

Decent "pub grub" it truly is a sports bar, TV 's everywhere. Not personally my choice but if you don't mind 'noisy" place you will get a decent lunch.

I went along on a works night out we all had a three course meal which was great especially the steak pie😁 We tried our best at the quiz but had a good laugh. I would definitely recommend Willie Wastles for a visit nice place good food and friendly staff.

Party of Six for evening meal and Party of Four for breakfast. The food was excellent and very well presented. Felt safe as masks are mandatory and all staff wearing them.Service was efficient, polite and friendly and special request was arranged with no difficulty. The Ladies's toilets were immaculate, spacious and plenty of space and mirrors.Overall an excellent experience. The one thing that could make an improvement would be if there was a small ramp for the disabled instead of four stairs but there may have been a different way up( I did not ask).

Tide Lines played in the Town Hall.We arranged to go to the show and walked in off the street to Willie Wastles.WOW!!Staff were so keen to help us to our seats.Staff were brilliant, REALLY Brilliant.4 of usEvery meal was served and looked delicious.ALL plates were cleared. We returned early next day for breakfast, hoping we would not be let down.WOW!Breakfast including the tea and coffee was served hot and just the way we loved it.Toast was warm, eggs cooked to perfection, bacon as we loved it.Even our veggie pal was impressed.100% score for the staff and Willie Wastles (btw we loved the lassie who remembered us from the night before and asked "would you like the same cubicle as you had last night") Brilliant

No fuss, value for money food and drinks. Only quibble is that some chairs are lower than tables so makes eating a little bit more difficult.
