Went to Strathaven for this bakery aswife was excited. What a gem of a place this is. Staff great tarts out of this world!!

Visiting friend in East Kilbride we went out for lunch at Alexander Taylor. Friendly staff and delicious food and cakes. Will visit again.

Delicious soup and soda bread today - cauliflower, courgette and kale! Tray bake and generous cup of coffee to finish. Nice and clean. Friendly, efficient staff.

Always met with a lovely enthusiastic smile serving great grub and the best made coffee.

It's okay but somehow it lacks atmosphere, the staff are polite and efficient. There doesn't seem to be the range of menu choices there used to be it seems. The deli is reasonably stocked and what is on sale is nice. However as I said something seemed lacking, maybe it was me. That said the cakes and breads all come from their own bakery and that’s just as good as before.
