Blue Rupee in South Lanarkshire

First visit and we’ll definitely be returning. Excellent food. Freshly made pakora and melt in the mouth lamb. Friendly attentive staff and very attractive surroundings made it a lovely evening.

Been going here since after the 1st lockdown. Used to eat here when it was the Pir Mahal many moons ago but this place knocks the socks off it. The staff, food and price is spot on. This is by far the best Indian restaurant in Lanarkshire by a country mile. Much better than the overpriced, over full restaurant across from the Hamilton town hall.

Flavoreless, chicken n tomato, no spice, ?? Was suppose to be Tikka Masala. Pilau rice, not hot enuff.peshawari naan..though was perfect.And got charged £28. Absolute joke.No awards from me...( chef 41 yrs )

This was our first visit to The Kurry Lounge and we'll definitely be back Fantastic meal. Excellent service from staff too. Can't wait to return!

Nice little restaurant upstairs with a friendly owner and nice food however it's very different in flavor and taste to many other Indians I've ate at and where I liked it, I didn't really love it. Worth a visit anyway

My Daughter and I ate here on the 7th September, we walked from our hotel to the restaurant! Which was a long one, being down by the racetrack, it was worth the walk, as the meal was amazing, pakoras were great,,wished they do them down South! We ordered far to much food between us, it was lovely,,we were offered a doggy bag, but declined, we are going again this Friday with our husbands and cannot wait, the man that served us was delightful. It was very quite when we ate as Scotland was playing footy.

Ordered a takeaway at 6 o clock tonight to be told it would be here between 6.45 and 7.05?? It arrived 40 mins late cold and the wrong korma was delivered. Tried to phone shop, and was told it was out with the driver?? Phoned again to try and tell them my order was wrong but was just ringing out. Absolutely not acceptable.

Delicious food and outstanding service. We asked for extra spice and we weren't disappointed. Would recommend this place for Indian food lovers. Thank you Kurry Lounge! Next time we visit Scotland - will remember to pop in.
