Been here many times over the years and I have never had a bad thing to say. Great food and very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

We booked a table for 6 people for 2pm, we arrived at 2.09pm, this was due to the congestion caused by road works in Hamilton, we were told that our table was taken as we were late and we were also told that the booking was made for 1.45, I made the booking myself and it was definitely 2pm i reserved. I did not appreciate being lied to. We did return an hour later to eat as i had told all of my guests how great the food was in the restaurant. I have been a regular customer here since the place opened but having had this experience with them i would doubt very much if i would give them my custom again

Felt very rushed. We had just sat down and had waiter asking if we were ready to order. Customer service very lacking, felt more like a conveyor belt with no personal interaction, food remains good though.

I have been coming to the restaurant over 15 years .It's a great place to enjoy traditional Indian food. The last few times I have been in for evening meal paying full price and not taking advantage of the set price menu.Over the years I have noticed a big difference In the vegetable pakoraThe size has become a third of the size it was years ago there is no veg or very little veg in it so small you can't notice itlacking in the vibrant indian flavour and not served piping hot straight from the deep fat fryer or pan.I noticed that the chicken pakora was not piping hot at the table last time .It's a shame something so cheap to produce has been reduced to maximise profit.I think giving more space to customers would help the experience rather than being like sardines you can't move .nan breads could be served individually rather than a galic nan put on top of a plain nan on the same serving platterMain courses first class and service.

11 of us were booked in for Xmas Dinner at 1.30pm. We were one of the first customers to arrive. Drink orders were taken, but no food orders were taken for a good hour afterwards. Food was fine, no complaints. Sat for ages and had a few rounds of drinks ordered before food finally arrived for our mains. One of our company even asked the drink waiter if they had any food! When it did arrive, once again, no complaints about the food. In the meantime most other tables were served their complete meal while we made do with 'drinks orders'. Then a huge queue appeared at once from approximately 3pm and filled the restaurant from the open front door winding round the restaurant behind us meaning that staff continually bumped into the back of our seats trying to pass the line of customers queued up for takeaways. Apart from the fact we felt uncomfortable with a queue of people watching us eat, there was no social distancing whatsoever! All the time we wanted to leave as the restaurant was absolutely freezing. They had calor gas fires dotted about, but, with the doors constantly open we had to put on our coats and sat shivering. We were left waiting for ages for desserts due to them serving takeaways. Only got served once I made comment. Not once throughout the day were we asked if everything was OK as is standard in restaurants. Finally, when we left, not one member of staff said thank you or goodbye. Service, unfortunately, was abysmal especially for such a long established restaurant! We all came down with covid in the following 48hrs. Not blaming the restaurant by any means, but thought it would be the decent thing to do to make them aware, but they showed no interest whatsoever. None of us will ever be back nor recommend the place 😪

Food was good, drink service was terrible. The management that didn't take our full deposit off the bill stated "we make millions every week" so they don't need our business.Snide and rude individual, don't expect to be treated with an respect here

First time trying here. We were told how good it was and we weren’t disappointed. Food packed with flavour, great portion sizes, free starter, ready for collection. Can’t fault them. Will be back for another takeaway very soon. Keep up the amazing work

·

Fantastic food and great service as always. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to our next visit.

·

They have an amazing way of doing their meats 👏🏻 Food never disappointed here. The waiters need a bit of polishing, but oh well...

·

Terrific meal, great service and good value for money for what we ordered. We will definitely be back👍👍👍
