Cafe India in South Lanarkshire

Due to covid restrictions they are offering a reduced menu set meal, choice of 2 starters and a main, mains mostly Indian curries, will return for buffet

My partner and I were here tonight and I doubt we will be back. My partner uses sticks to walk and the waiter was happy to put us to the furthest away table even though the place was not busy and when I asked if it was possible to sit closer he wasn't happy at all. The service was very poor, there was 1 woman serving the food at the buffet, she threw everything on top of each other on the plate. My partner had asked for a little sauce on his rice as he wanted to try another sauce also which she proceeded to put loads on and left no space for any more. Yes its a buffet and you can go up as often as you please however this is not the point. There was 2 different types of pasta which had mixed with her dropping them into each other, there was 2 types of pizza pepperoni or cheese which they both looked over cooked. I had a slice of cheese and couldnt get my knife and fork through it to cut. The place was clean and social distancing was ok apart from asking people to wait to be served at a booth then proceeding to sit a group at that very booth. Sorry Mr Singh you used to be lovely and we enjoyed coming however this time you have made us think twice of returning.
