Costa Coffee Uddingston in South Lanarkshire

Just want to thank staff for finding and keeping my new jacket when I left it in shop 4 days before. Very honest staff. Very grateful customer!

The usual nice tasting range of Costa hot and cold drinks are on offer, along with the usual range of cakes and pastries. A small selection of pre-packed gluten-free and other alternative snacks are on offer as well. It's a shame that they have changed their dairy alternative milks to a brand that isn't gluten-free, but that's a corporate decision.When I visited (late Saturday morning), the place was absolutely packed with a wait for a table and a long queue. Sadly, this had a knock-on effect on the service which was not the most friendly and which took ages even once the order was taken. This isn't what I've come to expect from a Costa, and I'm willing to assume this was a one-off, though it certainly coloured my first visit to this particular Costa.

Costa Coffee Uddingston, is a very welcoming branch. Light & airy inside & extremely clean! The Coffee is so tasty & the atmosphere is relaxing! Prices are reasonable with a fantastic choice of hot & cold drinks. Like most big chains....they're all the same and this Costa is pretty much the same as all the others. The Cheese and Roasted Tomato toasties was hot and tasty. The Latte was lukewarm. Expensive for what you get.

Got the new golden caramel latte, not much different from the regular caramel latte. Tried the rocky road bar for the first time, sorry but won't be getting it again, very bitter chocolate not my taste. Staff as usual very friendly and helpful.

I visit Costa almost every morning after dropping kid to school.. i absolutely like my latte but unfortunately Not all the staff are professional, polite, or welcoming . In few occasions I have experienced while am being served, member of staff are either talking to colleagues or to other customer instead.. this is very UNPROFESSIONAL. few of them do not even acknowledge customer and sometimes no greeting . Very poor standard I still visit costa as I drive a long way in the morning and this is my only time to relax and plan my diary while having a hot drink

Good drinks, and tasty snacks....BUT, it's been weeks since one of the front windows was broken by a car driver, and yet it has still not been repaired. Having a sheet of plywood over the window is pretty tacky...

I have been visiting Costa Uddingston for a long time now since opening along with my wife, sometimes 4 or 5 times per week.In general I really appreciate how the staff are very welcoming , patient and professional.Too many times now I gave been served by someone who is called Laura.She doesn't seem to follow the same standard as any of the other team members.She is impatient, unwelcoming with no smile or kindness in her voice, no chat at all and makes myself and my wife feel very uncomfortable.Six times today I noticed her just staring at me with her cold eyes.Strange character.If I order a sausage bap, she won't ask if I would like sauce but all other staff do,, she gives me my change and decides by herself if the change is £13.02 then decides i don't need the 2pence, none of the other staff will do this, she is correct i don't need the 2pence but it is not her decision and I definitely would not write this review or even mention it if I thought she was just having a bad day, but no she has a verybnegative energy and is very unpleasant.I would suggest possibly working with the public if you like people in general only, I'm sure this would help.We come here to spend 30 minutes together then go our separate ways to work, it would be so nice to enjoy this time.

As a Costa lover I thought this would be a great local for work. Location is good, parking is good, staff and service however is not. There is a store manager that has been on shift a few times now when I've visited and her service is terribly poor. She doesn't pay attention when she asks for your order so has to ask for it again, doesn't apologise for keeping you waiting whilst she has a gab with her friends, and then speaks to you like a child when it comes time for you to pay. Queues are often very long and very slow.

Staff young and pleasant BUT staff shortage so obvious with tables, floor filthy and many stacked with used dishes. Coffee good and newspapers aplenty. Seating ok but nothing compared to other coffee shops. Has limited outside seating where dogs welcomed with fresh water bowl outside too.
