Friendly and professional staff running a very comfortable hotel. Certainly went the extra mile to make our visit enjoyable.

Possibly my daughter's favourite cafe break choice, staff always welcoming. Cafe is also dog friendly and reasonably priced menu.

Should have stayed tonight but weather awful and roads dangerous. Despite having a nonrefundable rate. There was absolutely no problem changing the booking until next week. In fact the young lady I spoke to was so kind and caring.Looking forward to Monday. Definitely 5 star service already.

Stayed for a night following a wedding at Cornhill Castle and was really impressed. Spacious room, very comfortable bed, and great little details like extra pillows in the room, chilled water and milk in the fridge and biscuits for tea/coffee - something that isn't a given in big chain hotels. Varied choices for breakfast and very tasty + the staff were friendly and welcoming.
