Crown Inn in South Lanarkshire

Driving through town and decided to stop at this lovely location for lunch. It is a nice set up. Very warm and friendly. Everything our family ordered was delish. I happily recommend.

Super dog and people friendly pub serving a gourmet style menu as well as a simple lunch time choice. The staff were warm and friendly and the food excellent. Would definitely recommend as a stop or for a meal if your camping locally.

We booked Sunday Carvery for 8.We were served at the table and offered five types of meat. The portions were very generous. The food was hot and well presented.The staff were friendly and attentive.Special mention for them for organising a gluten free option for one of our party who was also able to enjoy Yorkshire puddings.The pub was busy and had a good atmosphere.The meal was excellent value for money.

This a must visit. Top class service food and beers. Lovely original fires. Lovely traditional bar restaurant.

Fabulous food and lots of different options to standard pub fayre (although the standards are also there) Non alcoholic drink options which pleasantly surprised me. Great meal out

The Crown Inn was superb, my wife and I first break in months and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, fantastic service and the food spectacular. Thank you Crown Inn for making our night.

Went here last nite for a meal before a wedding reception the food and staff were amazing also a really nice atmosphere our waitress Donna couldn't have been any better she was so funny and there to help with anything we needed I would definitely recommend it

Bit of confusion about our table booking but was sorted quickly. This place is busy and rightly so! We've been quite a few times before. Food always good and plentiful. Service friendly - just a bit slow tonight (hence the 4 stars) - could be because our table was at the bottom of the stairs tucked away. Wouldn't want to sit there again but we will definitely return.Make sure to go when you are VERY hungry! 😋

Decent pub with friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and a varied menu. There is a good range of veggie and vegan options, around a dozen vegan choices, which is one reason I have been several times. We had a Bombay Bad Boy burger and the squash and lentil Wellington (watch out, the port jus is extremely sweet!).

Used Crown for solo evening meal while staying at Kirkstyle Hotel opposite. Good varied menu with Vegan choices. Linguine with non-meatballs was delicious but mighty spicy! It needed a sorbet dessert but I've cream had to suffice. Staff very helpful and friendly. Pub was lively without being loud. A good experience.
