I ordered a chicken nugget meal from the kids menu, failed to give drink & toy..Next to order was doner meat and chips with a pot of curry sauce, however wrong sauce was given..i ordered a portion fritters - they liked rather nice when they were in counter on show.. came home and tried them, absolutely disgusting, pure greasy and tasted rotten, not even my dog has wanted them. I now know why I use Val’s just up the road as the quality of the food is outstanding, I will never Be returning to ebi’s too many experienced staff have left and now run by kids.. the quality of the food is the cheapest things which they could find.

Wouldn’t even rate it a one star young members of staff spoke to us so rudely and in a horrible manner when phoned up was told 20 minutes went in to collect and was told it wasn’t even cooked yet and was told to come back as then I did almost a hour and a half later which may I state it was only for a kids meal and a pizza crunch meal on return the staff member spoke to my partner so rudely and in a shocking manner.Would not recommend this place at all unless you wish to be spoken to like your nothing. Owners really need to teach the young members of staff manners and people skills! Hung up on the phone to me when I tried to make a complaint and on collection they had put the order under as leech when the name wasn’t even close to that.Horrible staff.

staff behind the counter are so rude!! 2 young girls both looking me up and down and were also argumentative after getting my order wrong! I work in a chip shop myself and i must admit i was appalled at how i was treated by the staff. girl was also extremely rude to a deaf man waiting to be served after getting his order wtong. SORT IT OUT!

Used to go to ebis when in Lanark and sat in, what a surprise to go in this afternoon, actually had to open the door and check it was open, it is so dark and dingy and uninviting now. The menu is just not right for a, what is trying to be an upper class restaurant, cafe attached to a chip shop. Left there and walked up to Valerios, food was nice, good prices, and friendly staff. Know where to go in future.

Usually go to Ebis in Carluke where the service is great, but stopped at lanark for convenience tonight. No organisation in the place, queuing system is non existent. The food was okay, but very greasy, to the point it soaked through the paper. The staff really let the place down. Not welcoming in the slightest. Not a single person managed to even fake a smile to any customers. Girl on the till seemed new, not confident on the till or making up orders, maybe some better training is required. Taking money from people and going straight to handling food without washing hands. The other 2 girls behind the counter weren’t interested in helping her either, just rolling their eyes and huffing. Severe lack of manners and not a please or thank you from anyone until I exaggeratedly said thank you again when leaving. Very disappointing visit and won’t be back.

Best fish and chip shop I've ever visited. Quality food at good competitive prices. Give this place a try....it's worth travelling for.

Food (when finally delivered after 2 hours) was cold and rancid.Staff on the phone lie over and over again. No respect for the customer and can’t even remember their lies from 1 call to the next.Shambles of a place - stop saying it’s 45 minutes for a delivery when it takes 2 hours - just tell people the truth!

Ebis Restaurant is lovely, the pizzas are fantastic and I would definitely recommend the ebis special pizza, which has a slightly different base topping it was delicious.
