You could instantly tell it's popular from the size of the queue, but worth waiting for. Although the queue looked bad at first sight it actually moved quickly from the efficient staff and we didn't have long to wait for a delicious supper

Just fancied bag of chips after a long journey home, they were great

Feel I’ve no choice but to leave this review! Over 2 hours for a delivery to be told 30 minutes previously that it was out! To THEN receive the tiniest portion of food I’ve probably ever seen but yet I’ve paid for large ! Never again will I buy from this chip shop EVER! BRING BACK ALFIES !

Ordered at 5.10pm, food arrived more than an hour and a half later. The food was freezing cold. Phoned the shop and they are sending another pizza. 2 hours later and I am still waiting for my original order! The attitude of the people on the phone and the service is discusting, this isn’t the first time this has happened either! I requested a refund and was told to give them back the original order and the money would be refunded in 4 working days! Because Ebis have cornered the market in Carluke the quality of service and food is appalling but no one can do anything to improve it! Absolutely hideous!

Excellent, 2 pieces of fish in nice batter, lovely chips, piping hot. Delivered fast. Very impressed,

Delicious pizza and fish and chips 😋

I’ve driven past this place a million times and had always assumed it was an okay chippy that also did pizza. We had a craving for pizza the other day, and since there are not many places in the area that do pizza we figured we’d risk it.I’m so glad that we did! The pizza was delicious! Really good pizza base rather than the prefrozen bases you get from a chippy usually.Will be coming back for more next time the pizza itch needs scratching!

06.09.2020 Update to this review. Just got a portioj of chips no bigger than what you get out a box of frozen mccains micro chips. Absolute disgrace. Lifted box out the bag and genuinely thought with the weight that id have seen a fritter in it. Yet again piss poor. Management dont own up to this and dont attempt to resolve.Girl with dark hair and fringe seems to be the one causing issuesSo last 2 times iv phoned ahead and ordered. Both occasions iv turned up at the time said and the order isnt ready.1st time they hadnt passed the order to the cook.Queued outside for another 10 minutes on the 2nd occasion to find out the order wasnt here. Told 20 minutes for a collection but this is a joke Especially when left waiting another 25 minutes after walking in at the time specified by staff to collect.Pre orders should have priority over walk-ins.Portions of the fish have gotten a lot smaller as well and is more batter than fish.Will be going to Lanark or Law for a chippy thats actually worth while.Joke of a place! Staff prefer to argue amongst themselves and offer nothing in terms of an apology.

Normally great but chip portion with fish and the large portion of chips was less than half full
