Elphinstone Hotel Restaurant in South Lanarkshire

Stayed there for 3nights 5_8 April .Nice clean comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast and bar menu good choice good food and very nice and polite staff

Enjoyed my stay at the Elphinstone hotel. Room was spacious & clean, breakfast was tasty, there is a nice wee bar and the staff were friendly. Good value for money and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

All the good reviews I've read boom I'll have a good meal hear OFT NO WAY THIS IS A PLACE FROM THE 70S STAFF ARE LAZY LOOK AS IF THE CAN'T BE BOTHERED THE FEED WAS LIKE SOMETHING FROM STRANGE WAYS BAD REAL BAD THAT BED THEY NEVER CHARGED US FOR IT WHEN ASKED SHY IT WAS SO POOR THIS IS A LAST PLACE SALOON IF EVERYWHERE ELSE IS FULL GO HERE SIMPLE AS THAT NEEDS NEW OWNERS ANDAND STAFF 999 ASAP ITS AN EMERGENCY

Lovely lunch cosy fire friendly staff but a star taken off as the coffee wasn't very good.

Nice stay, comfortable rooms. Breakfast included was nice would gladly stay again. The fires downstairs were needed after a long day outside!

Staff welcoming and friendly, couldn't do enough for you. Meal was absolutely amazing as always. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

We were out on the bikes for one final journey before santa comes and stopped in here for some food . The staff were lovely and very welcoming, we sat beside the beautiful open fire and had a lovely meal and some home made cheesecake 😋

Very good midweek lunch. Stopped in, warm welcome. We asked what was dairy free and the waiter went to all the chef whip carefully went through the whole menu. How nice. Soup and roll came out instantly and were delicious. Fish and chips has a very good batter. Ideal for a good pub lunch. Could have been quicker but I’ll not take off a star for that.

Had a 2 night stay for a friend's wedding, wonderful little hotel. Comfortable, clean and invitingle warm. The staff were superb, very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, evening meal and breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
