Nice wee Chinese takeaway will be back

Worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Fried rice was off and burnt. Ordered plain empty pancakes and was sent off some sort of greasy lump, so oily it was running off them. Chicken and sweet corn soup was lumpy and brown. Do not go near.

First time from this Chinese was a little bit mad as I ordered crispy beef but it was big pieces but delicious I will be back it couldn't be nicer but I will ask for small pieces next time well done. Enough to feed 3 people.

Used to be much better, maybe my taste has travelled and changed but the food is just not as good as it used to be

·

There should be no reason that we can not order and pay online and then go and pick the food up. We don't have to go into the shop it can be handed outside the shop. The kebab shop next door manages okay and nobody has been infected! I can't afford delivery everytime I want something, neither can a lot of people. It seems they don't care as long as they are making money. I can't wait until the Shang Hai opens. Until then, if I need delivery I'll get it from Lower Blantyre. To pay £1.80 when I live across the road is a joke, better value to order elsewhere if I need to. Ps. Food is okay...ish

Got chips rice and sweet and sour sauce as a quick snack. Wish I didnt bother the rice was burnt you could smell and taste it all the way through and the sauce was just pink vinegar absolutely revolting. Straight in the bin. I live local so they have lost a customer for life.

Came in and asked for a specific kind of chicken dish. Most places call it orange chicken, little pieces of fried chicken in a red/orange sauce. But it's not sweet.I thought I had explained it enough to the lady at the counter and even asked if I can see a sample of the chicken she suggested but she said no.So I had to order blind and hope she got my order right. When I got home it was big pieces of chicken in a horrible yellow sweet sickly sauce and pineapple and Oranges. Not what I wanted. It's strange a Chinese takeaway doesn't know the name of the dish I was describing as I see it everywhere. A place in easy kilbride shopping centre does 4 variations of it.I couldn't eat the chicken as the sauce was so horrible. I had to slather ketchup in it. Even if I had actually ordered that dish I would be terribly shocked with what they served up. It tasted like it was off and had a hint of something artificial about it.I think takeaways should have pictures of the food to avoid miscommunication. The lady should have brought out a little but of the dish to make sure it was what I meant. But they were not accommodating in showing me any dishes to make sure I was 100% happy. Just interested in making a sale.

Ordered a meal for myself and partner 10/07/2016. I ordered a breast of chicken curry with boiled rice. For a start, there is no way that was chicken breast meat, I found several cubes of what I think was pure gristle, and the meat was tough and stringy. The curry sauce was disappointing as well, very little taste, texture more like an Indian curry...not good. My partner had chicken balls with gravy and a portion of plain noodles, we also shared chips as well. Chicken balls were great (far better quality of meat than I found in the curry) and the chips were tasty and fresh. However, the gravy was tasteless and the noodles were very under-cooked and really oily. A disappointing experience given that we seldom eat take away food these days, and this was meant to be a bit of a treat. It's just unfortunate our favourite Chinese take away was closed. Lesson has been learned, we won't be back. The single star is for the chips and chicken balls. Wouldn't recommend.
