Good Fortune in South Lanarkshire

Ordered a Chinese munchies box for me and my friend and when we finally got the delivery they had gave us a meal for one we phoned up to sort the problem and the woman on the phone was shouting down the phone being aggressive and we even asked them to come and take the food back and for a refund and they refused will never order out there again disgraceful

Absolutely shocking. Will never order again. Phoned 4x over 2.5 hours to get my order delivered. Not the smallest order, was £25. I can virtually see the take away from my house, asked if busy, told no as I would have picked it up. I’m a regular customer, this is the 2nd time this has happened. Very poor English, hard to communicate with. NEVER AGAIN, lied to 3x told def 5mins.

Great food never had bad meal the past year I've been eating there lots, best about just now.

Tried here as received an appealing looking menu through our letterbox. Really wish we had not. Very disappointing food. The Red Thai Curry was unlike anything resembling that I have had before, watery, tasteless and full of very strange veg selection. The salt and chilli box was clearly reheat and very chewy with brittle chips. Maybe some would like it but we will not return.

Far too expensive I was a chef for thirty years, buy a curry is a lazy treat, it cost less than £1.50 to make a curry and they want to charge £7.50 shame on them

The food has went downhill, if your happy with an hour long wait on your grub then this is certainly the place for you. Some friendly advice, don't by the chips! I've yet to have a soft chip out of this place, they're chips are not just reheats, and I didnt think there was such a thing as rigamortis in the chip world but good fortune have made an excellent attempt at them! By the time you actually get your food you've lost your appetite!! Top tip, go elsewhere!

Absolutely useless. Used to be an old couple that owned the place and the food was amazing, had real taste to it. The curry sauce was the best ever tried.New owners are hopeless, food is bland. I ordered online for pickup, was charged 50p service charge, has an option for tips 🤔 go to pick up order and they have given the order to someone else have you ever heard the likes of it! Avoid avoid avoid.Food 3/10Service 1/10

Disregard any reviews older than about a month from this review as it has different owners and different chefs. Place is fantastic. Not had a bad meal yet after 5 or 6 meals and is currently my favourite Chinese takeaway in Hamilton despite not having the same red curry sauce a few other Chinese takeaways have.
