Harvester in South Lanarkshire

Friendly welcoming atmosphere, lovely staff.. nothing was too much of a hassle.. my wee boy was fussy with his first meal but I said to one of the members of staff & they changed this over to something he would like instead.. he had great fun in fuzzy eds downstairs.. Great place for family meals & reasonably priced with tasty grub. Will be back again!

Had breakfast here this morning. Ordered eggs Mediterranean and an americano.The eggs were very good. The coffee was a filtered coffee, but not unpleasant.Place was clean and the staff friendly.

Family lunch 5 adults and two children. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly face and given the option to choose the best table for us. We chose a table at the window so toddler could watch for the cars going by. Server Katie was very attentive without being all over us. Food and drinks were served in good time and delicious. We asked if we could order deserts but eat them downstairs in the soft play area. This was not a problem, in fact Katie offered to check if there was a suitable table for us. Our descents were delivered downstairs to us. Would we return. definitely yes. There was a gentleman serving our table but unfortunately I did not get his name. He was equally as friendly, particularly when serving my grandson his salad bar.

Visited last week with the family. Danielle was a server and she was amazing! So friendly and helpful. Everyone enjoyed their meal, especially my scampi. We'll definitely be back soon. Keep up the good work.

We came to the Harvester for a family birthday dinner on Saturday. We were a very large party of 13 and everything was served in a timely and lovely manner - not easy when there are so many people. Danielle was our server and she could not have been nicer. She was so attentive and so lovely to us all. She checked on us often to make sure everything was ok and if we needed more drinks etc. all in all a great evening and we will definitely be back. Thank you very much.

I want to start off by saying that the manager was so lovely and accommodating and the food was tasty. But that’s where the good review ends. I really wish I had taken a photo as proof of the below as it’s so unbelievable!Visited here 15/05/2022 at 5:30pm. I ordered the spinach and ricotta pasta and for £11.99, you would expect a full adult meal and to finish your meal feeling full and satisfied… but no, what actually arrived was a huge bowl of pasta sauce, 4 small pieces of pasta and 1 slice of garlic bread - genuinely thought she had brought me a child’s portion or a starter size! I complained to our waitress on 2 separate occasions about the fact she had served 4 small pieces of pasta and all I was told was “it comes like this” over and over and over again. I did eat the food because like I said, it was really tasty. But I had finished in less than 5 minutes. My friend had ordered a huge half chicken with fries, sweetcorn and gravy and this was also £11.99!!! I was so angry and the fact they still tried to charge me the full price was absolutely ridiculous. I asked for the manager who kindly discounted the price of my starter and she was very understanding. She couldn’t believe the size of the portion I had been served, she couldn’t believe they didn’t offer an extra portion and she couldn’t believe they tried to charge me full price! Our server was so so rude and I really wish I’d have gotten her name so I could name and shame her. First and last time here.The lovely manager gained you the second star.Reply to the below: I would suggest removing the meal from the mains section of the menu and adding to the childrens menu or the starter menu. 4 small pieces of pasta is not a substantial adult main meal.

Danielle, our waitress, was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem and she made sure we were well looked after. The best waitress that's served us in a while!

Had breakfast our server was Katie and she was outstanding an absolute credit to the place. Full Scottish breakfast was excellent quality. My daughter had pancake stack with fresh berries.

Has a great dinner, Laura was fabulous along with the member of staff that was training, sorry never got her name. Food was great as was the service. Booked in for breakfast with other family members, can't wait 😊

Great food (recommend the 4 plate starter option for a small family to share), attentive & lovely staff and relaxed comfortable ambience. Decent value too considering the good portion size. Recommended.
