Good food and fair prices, all staff was polite and friendly. I will recommend to everyone.

Lovely welcoming atmosphere and amazing food. We did have an issue with one meal but the staff were amazing and thr kitchen apologised and made something fresh. Couldn't fault the visit apart from this but it was handled professionally and definitely won't stop me coming back in future

Was a regular for lunch timer which with lunch menu was always mixed and exciting choices.Obviously pandemic changed that they now do mainly Al Carte apart from limited light lunch.I had scallops and black pudding drowned in a mediocare sauce....small steak pie main with pie paste obviously cooked some time ago and was rubbery..replaced and was same. Takes such a short time to cook in oven really disappointed.£60 for lunch x 2 a bit much think will give it a miss

Went last night for dinner with friends.Was very busy,not surprised, given the excellent good service and decor! Go hungry, as even the small portions are huge! Had a sharing platter for 7 adult,highly recommended and my steak pie was a treat! Staff wonderful and attentive.Cant wait to return...but I shall fast all day before I do😊🥧🍟

Carrigans fitted us in for an hour on valentines day even though we hadn't booked and they had full bookings. The food was excellent and my husband had the small roast beef dinner which was still a very big plateful. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Will definitely be back soon.

So disappointed. Been a customer for yrs, won't rush back. Service, far too slow. Had to chase up missing drinks. Chase up the dessert menu that was offered. Sweets took an age to arrive. Couldn't order drinks because our waitress disappeared and everyone else too busy. At the end when we wanted bill to leave, she told us our table was needed back!!

Walked down on a cold stormy night to have a few drinks.We had bar snacks chicken pakoras, I normally won't eat them but these ones were absolutely delicious.Large natcho sharer between 4 which was awesome.We will be back up in a few weeks when we get back to see family.

The food is always great. On this occasion it was the first outing I'd had in over a week due to a bulging disc in my back pressing on a nerve. I was only able to sit for short periods of time. We were sat at a half circle table, which was so comfortable for me to slightly lie to be comfy. The staff seen this and brought me pillows to help me be as a comfortable as possible. It's these little touches that make this a fantastic venue. The staff couldn't be more helpful!

Great service 👏 👍. The nachos with peppers and fajita chicken was awesome.. also I couldn't finish my burger (large portions ) 😩 which was fantastic too ... the rest of the family also had nothing but praise 👏 for the food and service too 🙌... *****

Party of 4. Ordered drinks 1 glass had lipstick on it, spoke to waitress she said I'll get that changed for you#. Had the chicken liver pate/toast with red onion jam , loads of pate but no jam waitress said sorry no jam left. If I'd been told when I ordered, I'd have chosen something else. As a result I only ate 1 piece of pate, far too bitter without the jam . Really poor quality pate, really poor customer service also. Won't be back.
