Best Chinese takeaway in the village for me, I always enjoy it.

Sweet n sour chicken Hong Kong style,AMAZING.Beef and onion no flavour.Usually very good, so maybe different chef on that night.

Food was lovely. Really tasty satay sauce and their noodles where good too. Nice and warm even though I had driven from their to Darvel. As we stay in Darvel and I was passing here on my way home from work.

OK food but have tasted better from other local takeaways. Ordered several dishes, noodles were dry , sweet and sour sauce bland and vinegary, lemon chicken meat was OK but sauce too sickly sweet. Not to my palate but overall not too bad.

Was waited a long while for even a pre-arranged pick-up family meal, so a bit annoying; however the lady who was very busy taking the orders still very attentive and caring to myself and others also waiting there. She apologized to the delays, and make sure I had got everything I had ordered. So I think this is what we called a Service go extra miles! Mr.rice, you need up your speed with cooking! I gave you a 5 this time, but next time, I want to see your improvement! :)

Was a long delay finishing up my work tonight so a bit annoyed, come down to pick up a chinese meal from Mr.Rice. The girl behind counter cheered me up - she was very caring to all customers and funny to make me laugh, food was lovely and good to see somebody was happy at work to make other people happy too! Good customer service, excellent! :)

The worst Chinese takeaway l have had, the food is bland and tasteless. They can't cook fried rice period. The girl at the counter serving me had no manners what so ever. She was stuffing her face with food while she took my order and spoke like a chav. For descent Chinese go to Richmond in East Kilbride night and day. Mr rice uses frozen chicken in the meals. The rice looks as if its been reheated and tastes bland. Tried 3 times never again 0 stars.

Worst Chinese takeaway I have ever tried, bland bland bland, very oily, don't know how you can make food taste this bad?! Girl at the counter was rude and spoke some form of unknown scottish, also tried to over charge me for my order. Never again!!! Be warned!!!! Negative stars if I could!!

When I order from this Chinese takeaway, I always get a friendly person taking my order, always gets delivered quickly or at least on time and the food is great. My partner actually can't eat satay sauce from anywhere else now. I have a closer Chinese restaurant to me which isn't bad but prefer Mr. Rice.

Mr Rice has been my regular chinese, been ordering their salt & chilli chicken many many times but the last two orders were simply disgusting (fatty, rough chicken, awful quality), I know other people experienced the same disappointment and did the same as I did tonight: ordered somewhere else. I really like Mr Rice I hope they quickly get back to their usual standards.
