Very clean place and food looked good

What a lovely friendly experience. Meal was freshly made to a high standard. Certainly the first of many, hopefully.

Great wee pub. The food is incredible the Chef should be proud of herself, atmosphere is incredible just the ideal pub to go and watch a game and enjoy a pint and relax very friendly and great for dogs too. Staff are incredibly friendly and overall just a fantastic wee pub

***WARNING BEFORE BOOKING FUNCTION ROOM ***If you have booked or going to book don't assume it's garenteed, we booked many weeks ago paid our deposit we were told everything was fine. We stopped in for dinner a few times checked with the girl it was in the diary , she checked infront of us we saw our name was the only one in it for our date. We had a meeting with the boss lady couple of weeks ago to discuss buffet dj etc, told again all will be fine. Now out of nowhere on Wednesday we got a call to say she had double booked 🤬 and they had been in at the weekend , so it took till the Wed to call us. She told my wife that they were locals and regulars, seems to us she took this as a better offer, she also tried to pass the blame to one of her staff not realising we saw the diary.We had specially made invites and a cake booked , she had the cheek to offer us the Friday, mybe she was thinking extra money 🤔. She didn't care one bit that with limited time we would struggle to get booked elsewhere. No apology when I collected our deposit refund, no offer of paying for ruined invites. Terrible attitude and very unprofessional, so be warned people it may happen to you too.

I'd heard good things before deciding to give it a good for an evening meal with the kids. Wasn't greeted with a smile or a welcome so initial impressions weren't the best. We had a nachos to share which was ok & though could have done with more toppings & only 4 jalapeño which I thought was a tad mean.Half way through the nachos came the kids chips & chicken nuggets. No beans or veg offered to go with it . However the kids seemed to enjoy it ,though for £5 id have expected a little better.A full 10 mins after the kids had finished their meal came mines. Why or why when ordering kids & adults meals do you not get them served together??I opted for the lamb which was adequate,no more no less. Overall I left disappointed & wouldn't rush to go back

Great atmosphere. Great food and prices. Lovely staff. Thoroughly enjoyable meal . Well worth going to. You won't be disappointed.

Stopped in for a few drinks and some lunch. Friendly welcoming atmosphere, great service and good pub food. What more could you ask for.

Disappointed about the food since the chips were cooked in old oil and didnt taste great. But we had a nice lady who served us. Wouldnt come back but looks lile an easy place to come for a beer or something :)
