Pina la Romanella in South Lanarkshire

We've eaten here twice and both times the food and service has been absolutely faultless. The menu showcases some great local produce, cooked beautifully in true Italian style. There's no Hawaiian pizza or spaghetti carbonara on this menu - it's all authentic Italian dishes, generously portioned and excellently served. Real Italian cooking.The house wine was a superb option by the glass, and the homemade desserts a real treat.We enjoyed talking with our friendly waiter who made us feel incredibly welcome. I would recommend La Vigna to anyone looking for a relaxed, authentic and delicious Italian meal.

What an amazing evening! The food was outstanding, the ambience was perfect and I cannot fault the service - our waiter was gracious, attentive and had such a pleasant manner! Highly recommend!

Went here for dinner as part of my 50th birthday celebrations.. cannot fault anything about this restaurant. Food was outstandingly good. Superb prawn dish. Confit of duck was delicious as we're both our main dishes. Will be returning. I just need to find another excuse to return but I think that will be easily done.

Absolutely faultless. Food quality, presentation and portion size was perfect. As was the ambiance and service. We were a party of 8 and our meal simply couldn't have been any better. Brilliant!

First time together with all family members since lockdown. We were at La Vignas for Sunday Lunch as a very belated Diamond Wedding celebration for our parents. Great food and excellent service. Autumn menu had a lot if mushroom dishes which the restaurant were happy to change for a la carte dishes for those who don't like mushrooms. Thanks for a great lunch.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal here last night, we had been looking for a nice restaurant as we had a function in the town. I had Scallops with Black Pudding to start and Veal for my main. My wife had a very nice Sirloin Steak. We would highly recommend this restaurant !!

Deffinitly the best dinning experience we've had for a very long time. We took the children as I wanted them to try Italian that wasn't pizza or pasta. It did not disappoint the food was excellent and we all really enjoyed it. The service was excellent too, really pleased we managed to book a table as it was a real treat.

Just had the most wonderful 3 course meal as a belated birthday treat. Haven't been for a while and it more than lived up to my memory of how good the food was. The best food and wonderful service, I highly recommend.

Booked for lunch at short notice , with no problem.Hand sanitising station as you enter. Really wonderful service. Chose from the seasonal lunch menu, which offered 2 or 3 courses.The ravioli was superb - hot and delicious. Banofee pie from the sweet trolley was excellent. Made extra delicious by the almond biscuits in the base.Very nice treat for a special occasion. Had a very well stocked bar too. With a good selection of wines. The aperitif cocktails looked fab although we were driving. A wee gem hidden in Lanark.
