Pir Palace in South Lanarkshire

We had an amazing experience yesterday at Pir Palace. The food was delicious, and we could taste it was being made with fresh ingredients and attention. The menu is quite large, but the friendly staff helpt us make a good decision based on our preferences. Would definitely recommend!!

Food is excellent, been open for 28 years and never had a bad meal, friendly staff, great service.

This has been our go-to Indian Restaurant for 20+ years. Great menu, never ever had a bad meal, the staff are all lovely.

First time back here in years - this time for a takeaway. The staff here are really friendly, waiting time was short, and food piping hot. I had a spicy mushroom poori - just right; then a Lamb Bhoona with a nan bread. Great tasting and a good portion. I'll be using here for takeaways again!

Back to our local Indian for a sit down meal and it was superb. Use the Pir regularly for carry out however always good to sit in. Proper traditional curry house with excellent food and service. Hazel has the team working very well and we will be back. 10/10.

Fantastic food. Great to see the place opening again for deliveries. Thoroughly enjoyed our takeaway last weekend. Looking forward to the restaurant opening when possible.

Visited the Pir Palace 2 weeks ago for the first time in about 15 years after recently moving back to the area.The staff were friendly and the food was fantastic so my wife and I decided to visit again on Saturday.I ordered the same meal (South Indian Garlic Chilli) and it was a completely different colour to the previous week, however it still tasted fantastic and the staff were equally as friendly.So 2 meals in a row have been excellent which means the Pir Palace will be our go to restaraunt for a spicey meal.The drinks are a tad expensive but no more so than any other establishment of this kind in the area but the food is good quality and reasonably priced so it balances out.

Living in Birmingham I have visited many restaurants serving Indian food. I have to say this one is on a par with the best I have visited. Very fresh and tasty food and excellent service from Hazel!! She has 24 yrs loyal service and knows everything on the menu. If in doubt....ask Hazel!!! Very friendly atmosphere and prompt service. Although quite dated decor, the food and service certainly makes up for it. Highly recommend a visit.

This is a nice family run Indian restaurant : Very reasonably priced , the food is very tasty, not too overpowering , good sized portions, good choice .. pleasant and relaxing atmosphere for a leisurely meal , but its the staff that make this place they are friendly, helpful and cheery Best service i have had in a long time in a restaurant. We have been loads of times and when we took friends , they were most impressed . TRY IT YOU'LL LIKE IT .. i have bought another voucher today :)
