High tea today on mother's day.Arrived at correct time to be told our table was not ready. Once seated it took well over a hour to revieve our food.Staff were lovely but this was unacceptable. Heard other tables complaining too. Meal was lovely when it did arrive. . Was with elderly mother which was a long time for her to sit and she was getting very impatient.

Perfect for our stay staff are great pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed the pool and leisure facilities. Our shower in our room could have been be a bit more powerful but all in no problems and a good price breakfast was lovely.

Booked in for an overnight stay, found out on arrival that the restaurant was closed for the night. Not ideal but would make do! Been for a swim and came back to room to shower as we had to go out for dinner. The bath sounded like a war was going on. Couldn't cope with the noise so no bath or shower had. Totally let down and won't be back

Take the girl swimming here for her baby lessons. The class is great along with the instructors, they make it safe, fun and friendly. The downside of these lessons is that you have to change your baby and get ready in the hallway before your lessons start. There's also a lack of safe space that you can get your baby ready when leaving the pool, I can only comment on the male changing area. I hope that this can be addressed in the future as the classes are great.

Used the swimming pool, £5 for adults £3 kids, nice clean facilities and friendly staff. Pool is a nice cool temperature and the surrounding pool area is lovely and warm for getting out. Has a sauna and jacuzzi too

Booked in for an overnight and a massage with the wife. Massage was great but the hotel in general is pretty dated. The restaurant was closed so we went a night without dinner. Seen other guests ordering just eat from the bar. Not ideal. The staff where really friendly and super helpful. Wouldn't stay again though.

We are a family of 4 and had a wee over night to treat our girls. I can honestly say the service was absolutely amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make the girls feel welcome. They can't wait to stay again. My oldest daughter left her Teddy and they posted it out very quickly which I didn't expect them to do. It also had a lovely little note and some treats for the girls. The bar staff were so friendly and made our girls feel so special. Well done popinjay, fabulous hotel xxx
