Route 74 Truckstop in South Lanarkshire

Good food, welcoming staff. BUT Please put up some more signs for South bound traffic !! I honestly got lucky with finding you during daylight hours, at night I really would have struggled.

Decent truck stop can reserve a space but will cost 5 pound extra was 2.40 before Christmas food is nice and showers are clean and hot staff all friendly

Very clean truckstop, well staffed. Concrete parking area (sloping), separate area for fridges across the road. SNAP accepted. Excellent restaurant serving delicious food, I highly recommend the lasagne or steak pie. Well stocked truckers shop. Toilets and showers are cleaned regularly. Truck wash and fuel available. Good location. Tesco supermarket across the road.

Top place to park, does get busy though. Probably best to call in advance if possible

This place is fantastic! Friendly staff, great smooth car park, restaurant, showers and shop! Close to Tesco too... If only all were this decent

Friendly staff, Clean showers, Good food, Thought the food was expensive until it arrived, you get what you pay for, Parking can be a bit of a nightmare if you don't get in early enough. But that's like most truck parks nowadays.. Parking price is similar to services £30 with free shower and £8 meal voucher..

Great service and great food, if there full they have an overflow truck park across the road and it’s right next to a Tesco

Great food, friendly staff, clean. Parking can be tight at times. But would definitely recommend.

It's ok parking here, clean and secure, however you have to be there fairly early for a space, otherwise there's a chance you'll end up not being able to park for the night, there's a ridiculous amount of spaces reserved and coned off, this should be limited, also i believe you have to pay to book a parking space? Why would there be a charge? Can be noisy if there's trucks driving in throughout the night to fuel up. Never known any other truck stop to do this. Parking is expensive compared to other truck stops and also the restaurant is expensive to eat in and the menu never seems to change. Overall I think a few changes would make this a better place to park. Staff always seem friendly enough.

The staff here were made an frustrating and unpleasant experience a lot more bearable. On route home from a very pleasant weekend, we broke down with a caravan on the back of the car. The friendly and helpful staff made this a lot easier to deal with. We were warm, dry and were able to get a hot meal whole we problem solved and joined the AA. Thank you.
