Terrible experience. Onion bhaji, was very dence, oily and resembled a fishcake. Chicken Tikka Masala was bland, no flavour. Worst sit down curry I have had in years.

Spice has went downhill rapidly imo. Chicken pakora was unedible due to being so overcooked, like it had been cooked multiple times. Garlic/peshwari nan both awful due to no flavour whatsoever. House curry sauce with tikka was watery and had split. Next to no meat in the chasni/korma. My advice would be to try somewhere else because I won't be ordering anything from spice again

Meal itself was great but service with a smile would have added to the experience even more.

Meals were excellent, staff excellent, social distancing in place, plenty of sanitizer and masks available. A great night out.

Decor very dated but food is amazing and great service given by staff. Also great for takeaway. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I visited Spice tonight as a last minute decision . We had been there before around 4 years ago. Very disappointed tonight. Poor quality in every area, from a " can't be bothered " meet and greet. To some pretty poor quality food.We shared some Spiced Onions and Poppadoms to start, onions were somewhat aged i my opinion. We then had a standard curry each ( approximately business lunch size) which was heavily salted ( never a good sign) and poor quality chicken. We shared a portion of Rice and a Nan Bread. My wife had 2 beers I had a still water. When the bill arrived for £46 I was somewhat bemused but paid it as I was presented with the card machine and bill at the same time. Probably my biggest shock was a charge of £5.50 for a portion of a poor quality microwave rice. Before leaving my wife asked the waiter where the ladies was, and rather than , say where it was he just pointed dismissively and walked away.I understand anyone can have an off night but my oh my how the standards have fallen at Spice at a time when perhaps they should be trying to stand out in providing a service.

Clean, bright and modern setting. Food was lovely only 4 stars as the service was too attentive. Taking glasses and side plates away while eating and talking, in the space of 30 mins was asked 4 times if we wanted anything else, relax guys if we want anything we'll let you know 😉
