Tandoori Mahal in South Lanarkshire

Let's face it, we all love the odd takeaway on a Friday night to eat in front of the telly after a long week at work. I placed an order last night and told to collect it in 20 minutes. I was there on time. Got home and found the fish pakora was soggy and had a taste like it had been in a freezer too long (the lemon slice was nice tho). The popadoms weren't crisp. They were so bendy I could have made origami swans out of them. Spiced onions were nice. The tikka curry and rice were nice but the salt and chilli chips were rubbery and dry (microwave reheats?) And although they had a slice or two of onion and green pepper on top there was no seasoning at all. All in all I paid almost £27 for a slice of lemon, a tray of onions and a nice curry all served with awful sides. It's put me off going back as it's a disappointing end to parting with your hard earned cash.

Really great takeaway, always friendly staff and great selection of dishes to choose from, also willing to make things not on the menu if possible, the one drawback it has if it can even be considered a drawback is that this takeaway can be very very busy but that really just reiterates how good it is.

Quite pricey, rice comes in a bag, naan bread very doughy and the curries are just lacking flavour :(

We ordered king mixed kebab and chicken tikka calzone kebab was alright calzone was burned on bottom and aii three of us had upset stomach 's the next morning

Best take away pizza I have ever had from an Indian, the base was soft and the cheese/topping was balanced well. If you stay in Larkhall and haven't eaten from here, then you need to re-evaluate your life.

After reading all the bad reviews and lies about this great take away shop I can not believe the niavity of people to even think that this could possibly be real it's very sad for people to believe all these lies especially when the chicken did not come from there in the first place as you dont get chicken heeds in take aways this has clearly been done by the person themselves and been placed in that box out of badness and trying to ruin a business that has been very well known in the area for several years and its believed that the person in question has done this before to another take awaySad that someone could even do this and for people to believe a made up story like this in the first place .

The best Indian food. In Larkhall. Has been for years now. The staff are always eager to help and very pleasant. Excellent in every way. 20 out of 10 folks. 😄😄😄😄 lol

Been going to this take away for close to 15 years and it never fails to disapoint. Food is great and if your like my wife and like a dish but wish it had a bit more kick to it they are always happy to make it a bit hotter for you.
