Tasty Spot in South Lanarkshire

Ordered and paid online, easy enough.Asked for portion of chicken pakora and what we got was dry tough chicken (pre cooked?) In batter, also for tandoori lamb starter which was in small pieces with salad and a yoghurt mint sauce (ok).My husband had the lamb bhopal madras(lamb in an onion gravy, which was very watery and he said it wasn't particularly spicy), I ordered the south Indian garlic chicken hot spice(had it before) but again a watery sauce with not much flavour. We did try each others meal but not much difference except for the onions. Roti x2 were nice.I'm afraid that the Indian takeaways in Rutherglen have gone downhill and we can't get a full decent meal anywhere and this is another restaurant that I won't return to any time soon

Ordered a king chicken kebab arrived and it's a king Donner kebab, no problem I thought, just ring the shop up and they'll send out my correct order instead? Nope, instead have a rude employee on the phone saying the shops closed and he doesn't have my ticket(paid for online on Just Eat) so tough luck. Awful customers service skills, incorrect order, cold food and the samsoa had bitter burnt bits in them aswell. You're lucky the lowest is 1 star as you dont even deserve that. Absolute shambles.

1st delivery from here food was lovely wish I'd tried it before pizza was amazeing and ive tried all the shops in rutherglen n all lassie on phone was lovely too made me feel at ease delivery driver was so nice too xx

I will not be using this place again. The delivery driver was cheeky and abusive to my very small dog then dictated what I should be doing in my own home. It's a shame as the food is ok. food i

Worst lamb pizza ever had to search for lamb there was virtually none on pizza plain cheese it was. Absolutely terrible when I phoned to complain customer service was just as bad was told by guy on phone he personally made it him self. So what I was looking at was completely different from what he said he made. When I said it was the first and last time I would order from them all I got was ok and phone hung up on me. Food and customer service 0 don't order from this place spend your money elsewhere

Total farce!! Ordered late at night I ordered mixed kebab I got all kebab meat 3bitsof chicken no salad !!! I phoned to question this and got told that is how they serve there kebabs!! Shame ordered from there fir years !!! Not now !!!! Plus was cold !! Delivery dude was sound no issues with him just the fact a mixed kebab is all donner 2 bits of well burnt lamb and some chicken from the floor!! Thanks tasty spot u just ruined yer take away for me !! Order here if u want cold food that’ not even what it says in menu !! Basically a total sham!!!!!!!

I've no idea what's happening with this place, it's been my family's go to takeaway tret for over 2 years now but in the last couple of months it's a different experience. The previous time we made an order it turned up an hour and half after ordering via Just eat. So after calling the takeaway they said it was 2 mins away. It was too late to dump the order and go elsewhere so I waited the further 15 mins for it to arrive.I didn't order again for over a month, but tonight my family of 4 all wanted different types of treats......... so back to The Original Tasty Spot.And again an hour and half after the order was accepted I called the take away.....I told them I wanted to cancel the order.I was told the driver is in your street right now ....5 mins later a car did a handbrake turn into my street and ran up my path.I then had to microwave all the food as it was so cold the boxes wernt even sweaty .TASTY SPOT don't accept the orders if you can not deliver the food in a condition to eat.Bye bye The Original Pasty Shite I will not be using you again.*****Please note that I no longer use this place so it may have ( and I hope will have ) returned to the standards which it used to have. ****

The food is actually ok but the way I have just been spoken to in this place is a disgrace. I ordered chips, cheese and spicy chicken now not a complicated order and since they have got it wrong before when the man (I use this term loosly) handed my order to me I asked if it was the correct only to find out again they didn't put the cheese on. Now i would have expected a sorry I will redo this but no i was met by attitude and demanded to pay another £2. I don't mind paying for what I order but this man was very rude and nasty. I would urge everyone to stay away unless you want a side of rudeness with your meal. I will be making sure everyone I know who uses this place is told of the treatment I have received. Please remember this is due to them getting my order wrong not my doing.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY - LIMITED meat in curries and rude service to boot!Ordered a South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken and there was two pieces of meat in the entire dish. Called to discuss with the manager who promised a complimentary curry next time I ordered. Called to order this evening and was told we weren't getting one. Guy then hung up on me.
