The Auldhouse Arms in South Lanarkshire

Went here for the steak night. I am always wary about ordering steak in restaurants however boy did I not regret it. Hands down the nicest steak I have ever had. My fiancee also loved her steak and she only ever eats fillet. The roast potatoes with truffle and parmasean were absolutely perfect, sounds cliched but light and fluffy on the inside and a wonderful crisp outside. The hand cut chips were also perfect. All with a bottle of wine for £45 . You will not get better food or service anywhere in Glasgow in my opinion.

Lovely village pub with coal fire. Staff are lovely and dog friendly.

Have given previous good reviews but sadly this time disappointed. Booked a table for a post Christmas dinner with friends who had never been.No non alcohol beer or wine in stock. Prawn Cocktail lacked taste. Fillet steak was tiny for the price with one mushroom and a half tomato on the plate and a portion of chips on the side . No English mustard, but presented with a plastic bottle of French mustard. Staff functional but no personal touch , "is everything all right" or "can we get you anything " would have went down well . Over all okay , it did not feel special especially when presented with the bill . Will need to do better as this is not what we expected give the great name you have.

Fabulous place , we & all the family have been visiting here for over 50 years now my husband & I take our sons who bring there young family and one of my son's daughter is a parent now & she & husband n baby enjoy there meals here , we enjoy going for family meals usually Ng 7 kids& 15 adults& we are always welcomed , thanks guys a great place and spotless clean aswell as great meals no matter what is ordered meals perfect. Great pub with original character. Nice pints.

I had asked on Friday evening if I could arrange a lunch time for a group of people. I didn't have a number or what to eat. The Boss suggested soup and sandwiches and to call him when I had numbers. I called with a number but actually more attended and there were no problems. Thank you to all the staff for helping our Walking Group commemorate one of our Group who died suddenly last year. Much appreciated!! Food was lovely and great staff. Thanks!!

Menu with a great variety. Lovely fresh food, well presented. Have eaten both inside and in the beer garden.will definitely return.

Amazing food and quick, polite service. Food is always hot and I'm glad they brought the tempura beef back! Portion sizes are brilliant and it's a lovely family owned restaurant. Been a few times now and will be back ❤ (picture is mac & cheese with black pudding and chips)
