Pub food, pub atmosphere. Polite and friendly staff.

Can't fault the Clydesdale Inn at all. Since being taken over by new management everything has been first class. Menu is pretty varied and food is always pretty good. Wide variety of beers, wines and spirits. Staff are always really nice as well. The Clydesdale Inn - recommended 👍🏻

Went for family get together to Lanark to see the Christmas market and light switch on.Six adult women all who have medical conditions (some severe although not visible)As soon as we walked in the door the female manager for some reason took an instant dislike to us. All we wanted was a rest and something to eat to take medication. She told us the food was stopped. I asked for how long and she said she didn’t know. I said we’d waitBy this time a queue in the middle of the floor was beginning behind us. I asked the girl behind the bar to help us and she said ‘are you the one that was turned away’ I was not aware that I had been ‘turned away’I wear a hearing aid although again you wouldn’t know. If that manager at any time had said to our party there were more tables in a hidden annexe this would never have happened. We were mortified. We thought we were waiting to be seated.I have given the place two stars because when it did get served to us it was delicious. We ended up having a lovely afternoon there looked after by all the lovely waiting staff.

Went for dinner a few weeks ago, didn't get a starter even though it was ordered and asked for.Waitress looked distressed and gave my son the wrong order.Food wasn't nice and certainly not freah

Former Wetherspoons pub, which still looks and feels very much the same as a Wetherspoons. Friendly staff, clean surroundings and a reasonable breakfast. The fixtures and fittings are starting to look a little worn, but I was content enough and I'd happily return.. Prices were decent and offered good value.
