We were lucky to be offered a table as every where else was booked in Bothwell. Lovely place...and that it!The menu was one of the most limited I have seen for a while. Chicken in tempura batter was good 👍. Main course not so!The beefburgers was really dry and I could taste some sort of curry spice in the meal the spice would catch the back of my throat when I was eating. Husband had a spicy chicken burger which was a slice of chicken beast cut really thin and came luke warm.Yes, we ate some of our food but I left most of mine. The place was full so I can only assume there was another menu we didn't get to see!

I have over the years had mixed experiences with the Cricklewood, from the highs of hosting my intimate wedding reception there and many other meals/drinks, to the lows! The lows started with a meal a few years back when the service was so slow (over an hour to receive starters and another hour for a main). We didn't go back after that but last night my friend and I were looking for a local meal before heading into town to see Texas, and given the passage of time I thought there would be no issue......I WAS WRONG!Arrived at 6pm on the dot, expected to have one course and be gone by 7pm.....but at 6.50pm we still had no food. We queried and were told that it would be there soon, I asked to check how soon and then was advised that the kitchen did not even have our order!!!We were offered a starter instead as that would be quick....clearly declined as we wanted dinner! In the end we had no choice but to go (they did comp a glass of wine and a coke - the least they could do) and we had to have a bloody MacDs drive through on the way!!!Shambolic service on a night where they were only half full and the 2nd time in a row with issues. Suffice to say that I will never be back which is such a shame for somewhere which held such happy memories. Serious overhaul of their management/service required.

We enjoyed a lovely meal as a family just before New year. The staff were able to find us a table really quickly and service was excellent. The place is cosy, welcoming and warm! Definitely recommended!

The food was very well presented, and more importantly tastes superb. I had Thai Green Curry, not to hot ....fantastic. Lovely clean well kept facilities. Certainly be back on my next visit.

Good Quality food at a reasonable price. Friendly staff with a nice ambience. Lovely and warm inside too . Reccomended. The Cullen skink was lovely and a good portion.

Second time in last couple of weeks I've been. Dinner wasn't good the first time but thought it was an off night. Went for lunch today and both my husband and I both hated our food. Macaroni, tasteless and hard and my husbands steak pie was not cooked well and meat was chewy and tough. Definitely won't be back

Visited for lunch. Restaurant was cold at first but heating came on after about 20 minutes. Service was a bit slow although staff were very pleasant and friendly. Food was OK but partner a bit disappointed in his steak
