Always been happy with any meals from Wetherspoons that was until today. Visited their Cambuslang establishment Ive got to say this was by far the worse ever food presented by a country mile. The burger buns were hard and over toasted ..patties were completely tasteless and bone dry both lacked any flavour. Fries tepid at best close to being cold really disappointing meal overall won’t be back based on this experience

I always stop here for breakfast whenever heading to Glasgow. The place is a real gem. The decor is stunning! Well done JDWetherspoons for keeping the architectural integrity of this building just as John Fairweather originally intended when he designed the Savoy Cinema. Love the Scottish breakfast. Would definitely recommend!

Terrible experience. Horrible scabby piece of fish in dry chewy batter. Lost a filling. Staff seemed very harassed. I fully understand places have staffing and supply issues at present but if so they should just offer a very limited menu or close the kitchen altogether .

Excellent food and you can top up your coffee, drinks for free. Costs less than a Subway, across the road, better value 👌

·

Good offers, able to order to the table. Staff were great.

·

Great food very reasonably priced. Not as busy as I thought it would be after the rugby

I was in Weatherspoon for lunch today. The service was shocking, I ordered a pizza it was absolutely disgusting the base wasn't even cooked properly, I said to a member of staff that came to the table, he said OK I'll let them know, I'm sorry but I would not take my dog in there!!

Great location, lovely staff.

Cavern of a pub as it used to be a cinema in days gone by.The staff are polite and everyone was wearing masks. There was hand sanitiser at the doors. None of the staff were ensuring that everyone was doing Track & trace though.I ordered the Tomato & Basil soup and a diet Pepsi and paid at the bar but once I sat at table the ? Assistant manager informed me politely that soup was off the menu. I then ordered the cheese/tomato panini which was delivered very quickly. It was while I was eating that I realised that there was a price discrepancy in what I originally ordered and what I was eating now and I also realised that the staff had not offered to reimburse me the 55p difference in price until I had pointed this out so I felt that for some people that this is money out of their purse/pocket and into the pub profits...

Good place. Food is either good or average depending on kitchen staff on duty. My Dad remembered this venue as a post War cinema and has a lot of history and ambiance. Main downside is the rowdy riff raff who only come in to buy the jugs of booze. Online order and service overall very good
