Love the Lantern. Great value, girls always really cheerful and accommodating. The salt & pepper potato balls are amazing and so are the battered salt & pepper chips - but the latter aren’t always available. Make them available every day, please ! Great value, huge portions, fast delivery or collection, and they give free prawn crackers or other little things free, especially when you’re a loyal customer and go a lot. I love the lantern.

Great food but had a worker called lucia who sang to me on the phone.

Our new local and we've ordered quite a few times and the food was exceptional every time we ordered. Very generous for giving us prawncrackers when we order.. the best Chinese in East kilbride by far. Well done. We will be back lol

Food due for delivery between 7pm and 7.20pm, called twice and told on way, then informed that car had broken down and was being resent, 1hr later and still not here. Absolute disgrace, be truthful about delivery time and customers will decide if willing to wait. Will definitely not use again.

Got a special curry. Nothing special about it. 26 quid for a tasteless meal. Peking ribs not Peking 🤣 avoid this place as food rubbish waisted nite and money. Never again.

Two weeks ago prawns weren’t cleaned properly, to be fair offered me credit and the prawns are lovely however I ordered soft noodles 3.50 they are cold and hard and sorry but won’t be back!

Asked for salt n pepper shredded chill beef dry no veg just got delivered it's covered in bloody sauce this is twice now no wonder we stopped going here honestly how difficult is it🤬Dose not warrant one star received our mistake just to be hit with another when the replacement came it was dry yes but salt and pepper chill beef should be what is says on the tin(right) wrong dry fried shredded beef that was it!!! Pure boggin no flavour 🤮 !!! Benefit of doubt &all that 3rd time lucky you get what you originally ordered 🤗!! I mean how🤬 hard was that!!! Thanks guys will never be back!!!!!

Heard a comment by one of the staff about old men. As I had asked if there were peppers in a dish as it did not say on the menu. They said yes arrived home and there were 2 small pieces !! At another restaurant there are about 6 nice pieces

Had to wait an hour+ for delivery, ordered a special chow mein. I have never had broccoli, potato and other vegetables in a special, it's usually, beef, pork, prawns n chicken, oh I did get 3 slices of chicken. Will NEVER buy fro this place again, shambles of a takeaway.

Just ordered from here and it's the worst Chinese I've ever had!! We've ordered from here before and it's was lovely but tonight it has actually put me off completely.Chicken curry was bland not spicy at all onions and chicken tasted and looked odd. Made me feel sick after tasting it!!Prawn crackers tasted stale as if they'd been lying out for days.Sweet and sour chicken was just as bad! Chicken balls tasted like the batter was undercooked and also extremely under par.Dissatisfied and left feeling sick now.Total waste of money!!I'd avoid eating here!!
