Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price. What's not to like?

Has so much potential but horribly let down by lack of upkeep and poor staff who are far more interested in a gossip than bothering to do their job. Full of empty glasses, dirty tables as staff have a gab behind the bar. Feels an effort to pull them away long enough to get served (most beer is usually off anyway) outside was good to sit last summer but has really deteriorated and is dirty, strewn with cigarette butts and generally neglected.

Nice place for a quiet get together,coffee and a sandwich. Relaxing atmosphere. It's a regular favourite of ours.Only observation are the seats and sofas are by there best.

Lovely meal, arrived on the off chance of a table. Was able to accommodate us easily. Service was quick and courteous and polite. Food arrived quickly and was hot and tasty.Covid restrictions in place, masks to be worn as moving around the restaurant, sanitising stations at the entrances and toilets.Note for the mobility challenge, toilets are upstairs, however baby changing and a disabled toilet is on the ground floor.

Been here a few times for meals and the food was fab. This time there was a party of 15 to cater for a birthday surprise and they were fabulous! They stored the cake for us ahead of time and even helped up be sneaky whilst bringing the birthday man in. Would highly recommend for this type of occasion.

Great set up for breakfast however the cooked breakfast was very greasy. Not sure if everything is deep fried but there was a layer of grease on the plate. The sausage was the only edible thing.Tea/coffee was nice and a good selection of cereals.Friendly staff too.
