"The Old Smiddy is a gift and coffee shop with a lovely setting by the Powmillion Burn which runs through Strathaven. We have both inside and outside seating and open Monday to Saturday for coffee and cakes and light lunches. We offer home made soups, together with a range of sandwiches, paninis and wraps all freshly prepared to order. We also have a takeaway service. Our gift shop has a wide range of reasonably priced gifts including jewelry, handbags,scarfs, homewares and cards candles."

Lovely tea room serving hot and cold drinks, fresh homemade soup, sandwiches, paninis or wraps and all served with tortillas and a lovely homemade coleslaw also serve wide range of cakes and scones. Lovely peaceful surroundings in the cafe or sit outside by the water. Also had a gift room and staff were really lovely. Great time here.
