Great find in a small town with plenty of options for a light lunch. Lots of unique products for sale too from the local area. Highly recommended. Only down side was very small amount of indoor seating. Takeaway is available though for you to enjoy even if you can't get a seat.

Delightful. We came for the coffee, but ended up buying an adorable ceramic nibbles dish as well.

This is an absolute gem in a nice town on the A702. Coming from the south and west to reach Edinburgh, you should choose this route and plan a snack or lunch at The Olive Tree Deli. Parking is plentiful. Prices are very reasonable and a charcuterie plate was excellent with high quality meats and well chosen cheeses. Don't drive through Biggar. Stop and if you visit only one place make it The Olive Tree Deli.

It’s been a while since we visited The Olive Tree, but today enjoyed lovely fresh, beautifully presented baguettes with the tastiest coffee. Welcomed by the smiling owners, who obviously are passionate about the preparation and presentation of their food. My wife, Wendy, loved the face masks being sold on behalf of a talented local crafts person.

Food was tasty but tiny portions and expensive. I asked for no coco on my carry out coffee, but after driving away I found I had got it, so coffee was wasted. Experience was enough to make it unlikely we'll go there again.

Fantastic wee place, bought an afternoon tea for 6 of us. All the food was exceptional and thoroughly enjoyed everything that was served. Coffee is also very good, could recommend highly enough 🙂
