The Picture House in South Lanarkshire

Visited for the first time recently. Decent food, drink selection was good, service was quick and friendly. It's a Belhaven chain pub so you know before you go in that it'll lack a little bit of atmosphere or charm, but I would definitely go back.

I felt in love with girl that served me beer last night, she is so gorgeous, I can't even find words to describe how beautfiul she is. The pub itself looks good, large choice of beers from tap, didn't try food as was already late and they were going to close, but I can definitely assure you that I'm going to visit this place again to ask this girl out:)

One of the best place to spend your evening after your busy office hours in Rutherglen. I went last friday and they have DJ playing random hits. Felt like life is back to normal. I am coming from Singapore and it's been 2 years since I last saw this kind of atmosphere. They have a variety of beers and good vibe and people in Rutherglen are always nice.

Good climate, tasty food (just that bread looking like with banana ☺️ ). Waited for food around 1hr. But staff very friendly and helpful. There also was fish - tasty. And one more portion of garlic bread, which rules 😋. I think because of pandemic time, there was less staff. Delay forgotten. Really recommend food.

Excellent food in great surroundings. Staff attentive but not overly attentive. Food is great value for money too.

I have been here a few times before and on previous occasions the food has been excellent however on my most recent visit today I was disappointed to find that this high standard has not been maintained. I ordered a lasagne which was supposed to be served with both garlic bread and a side salad however this was served with salad only. Additionally my girlfriend ordered macaroni cheese with a separate side of chips but the chips were served on the same plate as the macaroni cheese instead of separately (and the portion of chips was very small). The macaroni cheese was also very dry and did not have any cheese sauce on it. That being said, the staff were nice and it is only the quality of the food which has put me off making another visit.

Food was so beautiful, my sandwich was adapted to what I like for calorie counting, Vicki was just lovely as always. My husband had the new chicken burger and he loved it. Fast and friendly service as always xxxx

Excellent food and drink for the prices. I did get a flat pint but one of the bartenders made a new one without me even asking him. The staff are friendly and the app is pretty good too (which in Corona times is important). Considering how rough some of the pubs are around Rutherglen, they do well at keeping things civilized.
