Edible that's all you could say really, although the chips were fresh, and well cooked. Dining not offered as yet. What seems to be mainly due to the lack of staff.

Really lovely fish and chips to take away. Shop was immaculately clean...loved it!

So disappointed, food quality good , chip portion ridiculously small, as were the baps...there would be a riot in a Manchester chippy at the price for so little...

Customers can't use toilets, staff lie stating it is against guidelines. I work in hospitality, it is definitely not against guidelines but a business preference. Foods nice, don't like being lied to. Disabled mother in arm, told to use public toilets while I was staring at there's 2 feet away. Give customers more respect and inform them, the business don't want staff and clients using the same toilet, tell them the truth. Won't be returning for this fact.

Fantastic fish and chips, sausage, battered haggis, pies etc (although no gravy available) they also do pizzas. Prices are great and portions are large too. Would definitely visit again and send to be very popular.

Great selection of food available from pizza to baked potatoes. The highlight was the fish and chips. Massive portion, freshly cooked while you waited. Highly recommended.

A fine selection of standard chippy fare or pizzas. I went for the Special Fish cooked in breadcrumbs. It was delicious. Large portion, very reasonable prices. You wait to order, them move outside until your order number is called. Don't worry, you will hear it :-)

I was visiting the town and wanted a quick meal. Went into the restaurant upstairs. Asked for fish and salad and a coffee, with brown bread and butter. No coffee, no brown bread. When the meal first arrived, it came with chips. When it arrived a second time, it had some lack lustre salad and 70% of the fish was batter. The fish was dry and tasteless. The bread was a single slice of dry bread. When i went to pay, the cashier tried to charge me £16 instead of the £8.50. it took 2 staff before they got it right. My advice, give this place a miss.
