Tinto Tapas in South Lanarkshire

Staff not pleasant on arrival. Service not great, expected more with the restaurant not being busy. Not offered more drinks, even though sitting with an empty glass with the whole meal, and could not get their attention, it took ages for someone to take our order. Waiters seemed more interested in the other tables and constantly disappeared with one waiter on the floor for a length of time. Very disappointed and will not be returning.Has the cheek to add a service charge onto the bill at the end.

Always love it here, been going for many years and the food has always been delicious, sangria isn't too bad either 😉

Ideal for a tasty meal out with the kids. Ordered a broad selection of plates which pleased everyone. From simple bread with ham and cheese to salmon and prawn with thermidor sauce, we loved it all. The sauce on the mini burgers was a bit too spicy for the kids but otherwise very tasty. Salt baked cod was a highlight. Also liked the Spanish take on a beef olive, the baked goats cheese and the chickpea stew. Good wine, lovely setting, we will be back.

Having been in Tinto Troon and Tinto Battlefield on various occasions, thought we would try Tinto East Kilbride. Sadly it was not on a par with it's sister restaurants. We were seated at a table where an icy wind blasted round your back. When asked to be moved we were told they would put the heating up. This appeared to make no difference, so used our coats as windbreaks. Waited 50 mins to be served, and the our order turned up 3 dishes short, and one dish we didn't order. Ladies toilets had no toilet paper as it was jammed in the dispenser, although reported this was not seen to before we left. Bill came and tried to charge us for a dish we didn't receive. Ours was not the only table to have problems with dishes not turning up and wrong drinks. Food was of an adequate standard, but service was really poor. In short, hurry up and reopen Battlefield.

Tintos is amazing. Never had a bad experience here. Food tastes great, always served quickly and hot. Servers and staff are always really friendly and really helpful. Would definitely recommend anyone to try Tintos!

This place is awesome. Best food from a restaurant I have had for a long time. Absolutely amazing tapas. We will be back with a goal of going through the entire menu. Much bueno 5 *

Planned a catch up with friends for a "Tinto Tuesday" meal. The food was delicious & the staff recommended some dishes & drinks. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will certainly return.

Absolutely first class meal and first class service at Tinto Tapas. Lovely place with a nice relaxing atmosphere . The food was excellent , the menu has so much on it that it was hard to choose. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a restaurant.
