Villa Hotel Restaurant in South Lanarkshire

Went in tonight for south indian chilli garlic. Nan ,chips etc .food if fantastic. Great place .thanks so much.paul

Lovely gentleman took our order and was nice and chatty. Food really tasty and price was very reasonable.

Unexpectedly great place. The food was really good and the staff were attentive. Prices weren't the cheapest but no complaints.

First night in for dinner last night! Me & my partner loved it! Staff was so friendly & welcoming even offered too help take pics of me & my partner together! Food was amazing!!! Tasted delicious & never had too wait long for it! Will 100% be back

Lovely hotel, with a lovely beer garden. Staff very friendly and helpful.Very close to Hamilton west train station. Would recommend .

In a pinch waiting for the bus after my daughter finished nursery and asked to use the toilets in here as she was getting desperate. Was refused by a man, presumably the owner on the grounds of covid restriction as I hadn’t booked (fully his discretion given that his toilets will already be risk assessed if he has customers in the building)He went on to tell me it wasn’t his problem and “she would just need to pee herself”. Unfortunately she did before we managed to get home. I would happily have bought something if it would have meant she could use the toilet, I admittedly did get a little heated but I was and am just so shocked at the lack of goodwill. I’ve had a couple of meals here before but will never give this place my business again, and I’ll be damn sure that everyone I know locally with a family knows what this guys attitude is like

Nice food and it's served quickly, staff are very polite. Quiet when we arrived around 4pm but started to get busier an hour or so in. Was a nice sunny day so a few folk were out sitting in the beer garden which looked lovely too. First time visiting the place so, overall a good first time experience!

loved this place. food was nice and the service was excellent. very friendly staff. they also do Whiskey tasting events for various prices. looked really good hope to do this some time

This hotel may not be for everyone but it was exactly what we were looking for.It's a family run business with a very homey feel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.The food was amazing burgers handmade on premises. I was particularly impressed by their vegan menu.Rooms are clean, tidy and beds comfortable.Note: The doors get locked at midnight. This gave us piece of mind and made us feel secure.Located within walking distance of train station, shops and Douglas View Care Home.I would like to say a huge thank you to Anne, Douglas and Nidal for giving us a warm welcome. Visited today with 3 friends and the heating was only switched on when we walked in the door. We had to eat our lunch with our coats still on as it was so cold. One of our starters was tough chicken. The main meals were fine. The dessert sponge was burnt and the custard was cold. We did complain and got the price of the desserts taken off the bill but we won't be hurrying back to this restaurant despite being good customers in the past.
