Popped in for a pint Saturday afternoon. First time in years. The barmaid was pleasant, apart from that pretty bleak.

Very quiet, half the items on the menu not available. Another guest returned their dinner. Plate was stone cold. Staff very friendly and a nice location. I understand its just been taken over, so may improve.

My two friends and I went tonight about 7pm we had 2 pates 2 beer battered fish and chips and a burger tweaked to suit my friends medical problem... food and service was fabulous, cosy warm atmosphere 2 lattes and a tea , came to just over £28 , 2 for 1 offer was on , we shall be back

Lovely meal, very tasty and great portion size, drinks well priced and good selection. Nice place to come and relax and staff are polite and good. Definitely recommend.
