Woodpecker Bar and Restaurant in South Lanarkshire

1st visit since it opened 4 weeks ago. Very happy with the menu and the service. Roast beef was tasty but a tad tough, might not suit all. Garlic bread was very heavy on the Garlic again will suit some but not all. Will be back again 😊

Fantastic variety of food on the menu, very reasonably priced considering how great the quality and portion size. Staff were extremely polite and made us feel comfortable. We are not locals and wanted a place to eat after walking the Falls of the Clyde. A real gem

Pleasant, friendly and welcoming. Food and service was second to none. Unbelievably reasonable. Would thourally recommend this restaurant +++++

Absolutely loved the food and staff were very pleasant

Sunday Roast was Lovely, could have done with some more veg. Over all a lovely meal. Staff were very welcoming and the restaurant was lovely.

Great food and nice atmosphere!!!!!!!!! We came to thi place for luck. The photos they have look like typically posh and small partitions so not so keen. The plates where "posh" however filling. Staff is beyond kind. I strongly recommend this place.

Interesting and creative dishes in an area where there are few of those available. The creations don't always come off, but generally do quite well. A good range of vegetarian options, especially starters and also a very interesting variety of nibbles and starters which you won't see in many other places. Not to mention nice classics like steak too.

Not cheap, but this is a great wee restaurant we’ve never been disappointed by the food. There is a nice wee bar underneath that occasionally hosts comedy nights.

Absolutely amazing. The waitresses were great and food was tasty, delicious and looked incredible.

Excellent service and the food quality was amazing, I would highly recommend a visit to the woodpecker!
