I walked by Oak a few times and I was always skeptical but a friend suggested we visit spontaneously and I’m so glad we did!I found the staff to be so caring in a very subtle way without being overwhelming at all. The food was mind-blowing. TMI but I didn’t brush my teeth that evening because I wanted to keep the taste of the charred asparagus for as long as I can!The coffee was great and I asked for something for a replacement for the ice cream for dessert (it had alcohol and I’m pregnant) and it was a breeze to replace and was paired very nicely with something else!Overall a great experience and we’ll be back for sure!

Absolutely incredible from start to finish! I’ve walked past this restaurant a huge amount as I live in Bath but had never thought of going in, and I’m so glad I did. Lovely staff who greeted my mum and I and looked after us throughout the meal. The sparkling Sauvignon was very light and refreshing to compliment all of the dishes. We had a plethora of dishes as they recommend two to three each and each one was just as beautiful as the previous. Even the garden salad, from their kitchen garden, was to die for. I would and have thoroughly recommended this to friends and family to try, vegetarian or not!

Even though I saw all the great reviews beforehand, I was still pleasantly surprised. Really interesting food, fantastic strong flavour combinations in what looks on the surface like some fairly simple dishes. Some of the best food I've had in a very long time. The care they've put into their home-made soft drinks is very refreshing too. Staff were wonderfully warm and welcoming, and I thought the decor was very good. Relaxed and intimate. Honestly faultless all round, I just wish I'd skipped lunch so we could have had more room for more dishes.

First of all, I’m a full-on carnivore…however, the vegan dishes at Oak were absolutely delicious! Quirky interiors, great service, very interesting wine pairings and food to die for!The highlight by far was the smoked celeriac and apple soup - such an interesting flavour profile and absolutely delightful. The leeks and the artichokes were also exceptionally good. Couldn’t recommend enough.

We love this place. Food is fabulous. Special mention for the leeks, and the rhubarb dessert that was next level brilliant. They have a bunch of natural wines, and for the non drinking amongst us some amazing refreshing fizzy cordial type things. I tried both the mandarin and the Douglas Fir.Whether you are veggie or not highly recommendedOh and the serving crew are great. How they navigate the twisty space without dropping stuff requires circus skills.

My boyfriend and I have been traveling in the UK and Europe over the past couple of months and Oak has been one of our favorite restaurants yet. All of the plates we had were absolutely delicious with unique flavor combinations coming through. The chickpea fries were top-tier!

Very lovely place situated in a small street with a lovely atmosphere. It was perfect for our week end dinner in Bath. The food is really tasty and lovely served by knowledgeable waitresses. We definitely recommend this place for food lovers!

Worthy of a 6th star. The customer service was exceptional. Dishes were brought to us quickly and tasted exquisite. The staff were knowledgeable of the dishes and were happy to recommend according to taste. All within an intimate cosy setting. We will definitely be coming back.

A very cosy place in central Bath. The restaurant serves creative vegetarian and vegan dishes. The food was mostly very good and I found it to be reasonably priced. The dish sizes are small and you can be very flexible with how much you want to eat this way. I particularly liked the cucumber tartar that was creative and very refreshing. The homemade bread and butter and the coffee were very good too. The service was a bit slow, but kind, and some menu items were finished, but it was a very busy lunch time that stressed the kitchen. One more thing that could be improved is more attention to children, we visited with an 8 year old that loved the food eventually, but the waiting time, attention, and not much to keep him occupied through the long wait was somewhat unusual.

Honestly was so impressed with how they made vegetarian food interesting & so full of flavour and I’m not even veggie!Biggest wins of the day for us we’re the arancini balls, asparagus and the cauliflower & pine nut soup - delicious!Small plates with each dish is approx. £8 mark filled with good quality ingredients well worth it! Also service was great, staff were friendly and attentive :)
