Enjoyed my visit, had breakfast/tea and look around the yard....

Lovely ride on the steam train. The cafe at the station is in an old railway carriage, makes an awesome latte.

·

Staff lovely and friendly. Grandson loved it.railway only running half of the track today. But nevertheless througly enjoyable.Shop good for railway items for children. Didn't sample cafe. Parking easy. The only slight hitch was booking the tickets site that railway use very confusing

·

Lovely cycle path, full of runners, walkers and cyclists. However, most of the cyclists passing me like to creep up behind you and overtake at speed without warning. I use my bell or call out, its that simple!

Checked out the shop, which had plenty of food and drink. Had a look at the carriages where you can eat and seemed OK, tho, in my opinion, quite basic. Spoke to a visitor who'd had Sunday lunch there and he told us that it gets busy on a Sunday and is best to book. Book or muss out was the expression, so I assume the roast was up to scratch. Toilets and disabled parking available

Good free carpark. Although railway wasn't running when we visited, the Cafe is not to be missed and is open every day(seating in a repurposed railway carriage or outdoor sunny patio overlooking station), serving delicious breakfast lunches and teas/snacks...very affordable, generous and delicious food. Good place for stop off/ taking family to eat.Deserves more support. Well kept public areas . Outdoor seating. Will be returning to eat again and hopefully ride the railway! Also is on the Bristol-Bath footpath/cycle way!

Fantastic train ride 1920s style on a wonderful bit of engineering and a beautifully restored Victorian railway station! Nice cafe too!
