Had a cream tea today , One meat one vegetarian .Was very disappointed that the vegetarian savoury was literally Camembert tiny baguettes x2 nothing else . Spoke to waitress as the meat options had 4 different meat ones , she spoke to kitchen and literally said that was the only veggie option ! Very disappointed, felt that they couldn't be bothered to cater for me ! Gave 2 star as the sweet tarts etc were lovely .....wouldn't recommend I'm afraid

Lovely food, friendly service.

Had the afternoon tea. Good selection of food and was well presented and tasted great. Our waiter was excellent polite and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recomend.

Had a buyagift voucher, 3 courses and a glass of bubbly. Lovely mushroom starter, I had boeuf bourguignon with cheesy mash,it was nice except the mash was cold, but they replaced it with a hot one. The fish cake that was ordered by the rest of my party was a bit of a mixed bag. The crème brulee was lovely. We love café rouge , but we have been to better.

This place was decent. I asked for the steak to be on the rare side and it come out completely well done. Which I understood why once I saw the steak because of how thin it was, I just wish the staff would have mentioned that when I was ordering. Otherwise, everything else was great. My husband was and still is obsessed with the lemon tart.

Fantastic christmas lunch today, all the staff worked so hard to make it a lovely enjoyable experience. The 5 course lunch was amazing, couldn't fault it. Looking forward to coming back again. Merry Christmas to you all and Happy New year.

The staff were good and polite. The food served was really tasty; little bit expensive. We tried vegan burger and chickpea burger and totally relished it. They charge a pound extra for sweet potato fries. It is a really busy café at the city centre.

Wonderful customer service. The waiter was very helpful regarding my allergies, much more so than anywhere else I have been. Tasty alternative to the fries I couldn't have. Great coffee. Great food

Very tasty and hearty food. I had the salmon dish which tasted divine! The service was also great, as was the atmosphere and interior. Recommend!
