Good Sandwiches/cakes but this is no longer a COVID safe business. Staff dont wear masks and no customers do, even those getting takeaway, with everyone crowding around the counter. Its a shame, but they've lost my custom for good.

Chances is one of our absolute favourite places for a coffee and/or a snack. We've been avoiding places since last year but now we've had our first vaccination shots we are being, very carefully, a bit more adventurous. Walking past Chandos today I masked up, hand sanitised and went in to order coffees to take away plus two of their delicious Portuguese Tarts slipped into my pocket as a surprise for my wife. Both coffee and tarts were fantastic and the conspiracy was great fun, thank you SO much.

Came here yesterday for lunch. We had the vegan wrap and the soup - both delicious. Great coffee and were served by the most lovely waitress. Super cozy atmosphere & helpful staff. Will be returning!

There's no arguing this place has a fantastic selection of sandwiches and cakes to choose from.But ..... here's the moan.... they serve the sandwiches on a chopping board which looks nice but really not practical to carry with your coffee as it's heavy.Order a tea and cake (as I did ) they put the teapot, milk and cup on a little tray but ..... here's the moan .... no place for the cake again making it difficult to carry Nice cake tho.
