Genuinely a bit gutted I’ve had loads of sh1t roast dinners elsewhere when THIS was on the doorstep. Really really good roast! Have rebooked for next Sunday.

I had a nice stay at the hotel with the staff being very friendly and supporting though not in a contrived, fawning manner. The room was clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed. I had no issues with the shower flow or temperature or any of the bathroom facilities. Breakfast, which was a decent portion size, was included in the already very reasonable price for the room. The location is excellent for those visiting Bath or Bristol as comparable hotels in either city are considerable more expensive while Keynsham is in easy of reach of either. In terms of negatives of this hotel, the only one that stands to mind is its parking. With a gravel car park and thus no marked parking bays, the limited parking space isn't necessarily used efficiently as some people park so far away from each other to avoid being doored by nearby cars that fewer cars can park. This is complicated further by the hotel's bar being open to patrons who are not staying the night.

Food was good, service good & a nice atmosphere dining in the bar. Restaurant area also pleasant.

Lovely comfortable establishment. Large comfortable bedrooms, delightful staff and comprehensive choice at breakfast. Would recommend a visit. You won't be disappointed.

We have booked again. What a little treasure. Staff were so helpful and nice. Reasonably priced food, good quality and quantity.

Lovely, beautiful breakfast too. Working nights, so sleeping during the day. Even though there's a busy road at the front, didn't hear a thing 👌 Recommended 😉

Lovely food and drink. Shame that the service was bloody awful. Waited 40 mins for food and the staff hardly checked on our table..

A small, however a very nice hotel located not too far from Bath and Bristol. We used it to stay overnight after visiting Castle Combe village and we needed a place to stay to go to Bath next day. The hotels in Bath were ridiculously expensive for one night and I found this hotel just 20 mins away (by car). Our room was spacious, clean, fresh - we really liked it. Also the breakfast was included into the cost and we had full English breakfast in the morning. Left the restaurant full :)The only issue is that the hotel is non a busy road, so if your windows facing the road you would hear the passing cars - but it is only nice you are very "fussy" sleeper. My wife and I didn't have any problems with that after have walked for 8h around Castle Combe previously :)Best regards,Rustam

Had full English for breakfast, not a huge plate full of food but it's good quality and well cooked. Main menu is from 12pm I believe, not a huge choice of meals but still options for most I would say.I had the Ribeye with triple cooked chips and Cafe de Paris sauce, I asked for the steak rare and I can honestly say I can't remember the last place that cooked a steak so well. Two of the group had slightly different burgers which were of a good size, very filling, with fries which were nice and crispy. The last of our group had Bao buns with Katsu chicken, small (4 buns) but packed full of flavour, definitely worth a try. It all came out at the same time and everything was hot, plates went back empty and 4 satisfied customers.Highly recommended if your in the area, a credit to the owners and staff.

Lovely accommodation, very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Only two downsides: thin curtains means room gets light early, shower is a little small. Well worth the money and worth a stay.
