Hands down the best dining experience of my 40 year life and has ruined any future dining experiences! The atmosphere is epic! The little touches of the decor and the informal yet professional and friendly service is the best I have ever had! Where else will the chef owner open the door for you, bring your food and take the time for small talk! INCREDIBLE!

Absolutely fantastic experience. The food was great, as was the wine flight pairings, but I liked the fact every team member was involved with bringing out one item and explaining it.Bonus 6th star for some awesome music being played!

One of Bath’s best restaurants.Very surprised to see it not have a Michelin star as it’s certainly at that standard with the food and service. Some of the dishes were very inventive and not your usual “modern French cuisine”, which made it refreshing.It was also a nice touch to have the chef come out to deliver some of the dishes and talk about them. Certainly made the whole experience more personal.

A truly wonderful experience, beautifully presented and packed with flavour food. From the minute we stepped through the door unitil we left we were made to feel so welcome, and all staff were so polite and professional. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food, love the fact that you don't know what's coming until it's in front of you. Everything tasted amazing, only wish I could cook like that. The staff were super friendly and we were even welcomed and served for multiple courses by the chef himself, which gave the restaurant a really intimate cozy feeling. The decor was stylish and the place had a comfortable feeling about it. No pretentiousness to be seen in this restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

Some of the very best food in Bath (and beyond), every course on the surprise menu was exceptional. The menu and the service were sophisticated, all delivered with a relaxed and unpretentious confidence that made it very easy to feel at ease.One surprise of the surprise menu on our visit was that it had a lot of fish but contained no meat dishes or red wines. For a blind menu this did seem to leave something missing, but it also provoked us to question our assumptions and to think about the menu more deeply. Every dish was superb, a balance of main events and delicious bites, and a menu matched appropriately to one of the hottest days of the summer. Was it a reaction to the weather or just a bold choice? I'll certainly be coming back in the winter to find out!

This place is fantastic. The food and the service was absolutely superb, absolutely flawless…I cannot remember the ladies name who looked after us but she was brilliant, full of banter and just seemed to get us. We even had a quick chat with the chef so a very nice touch. Would go here again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much for helping making my wife’s 30th go so well!

One word: **Amazing**Definitely one of the best meals I’ve ever had !Every single dish was unique and flavoursome. The oat cappuccino was definitely top notch. The vibe is fantastic, music is great, stuff is super lovely and place is small and cosy. I’m definitely coming back.
