Peking Chinese in Bath and North East Somerset

Spent a small fortune and received very small portions, felt ripped off. Quality not great had much better from my local takeaway. 2 stars are for the staff who were attentive and nice. Won't be visiting again though. Disappointing experience.

A spur of the moment evening meal at Peking in Bath. The food was great, we enjoyed every bite. The service was wonderful, the lady who served us was so friendly and pleasant. Thank you for a great meal and evening!

We had the set meal costing £29.95 per person, the food and service were both excellent and considering the amount and quality of the food, it was good value for money.

Good customer service and the mains were okay. Would have given 3 star however the dessert was very good.

We were exploring Bath and wanted a good lunch. The lunch time menu gave a range of Chinese starters and main courses. The service was very prompt and the food was delicious. Would go back again.

First place we tried in Bath so we were worried we would not get in without a booking. Luckily, probably because we were so early, we got a table. It's not often we have a "set menu" but we were hungry so gave one a try. It was delicious - 3 courses plus tea or coffee - and we cleared all but a spoonful of rice. I asked for the tea at the start of the meal so they even refreshed the pot half way through. Will definitely go back there if in Bath again.

Very good. Dim sum starters, followed by chicken & cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce and sizzling fillet steak & black pepper - all were very good. The dim sum were tender and well-filled, 3 pork, 3 prawn and not padded with veg, the chicken was particularly good - once again not padded out with veg and the sauce was delicious. The sizzling steak had just the right amount of veg - not overloaded.Service efficient and friendly - the whole experience was first class. NB, booking essential.

Szechuan chicken was hot and spicy but delicious. I really appreciated that this restaurant was pretty silent. On the contrary, I did not appreciate your Stella too much. The next time of my visit here, I will order rather the Tsingtao beer.

I have been to like many Chinese restaurants in the UK. But This one is the worst I ever been. High prices with low food quality and portion. Worse still, a Chinese waitress was like showing a really bad attitude all the way through. Strongly not recommend it if you want to be comforted.
