We were staying in Bath and decided to have a ride out to find a country pub to eat in. This pub looked welcoming so we gave it a try. We were met by the manager who showed us to a table and it was all positive from there on. The service, food and drink was exceptional. Plenty of choice at reasonable prices. A lovely cozy pub. Well done Nigel and staff. I will definitely recommend your lovely pub to others.

Stayed in Room 1 last weekend and was really lovely, nice, warm and clean. Liked the decor. Really big bed which was super comfy and slept well. 2 bottles of water, kettle and selection of teas, coffees and biscuits provided as standard, which was nice. TV had Netflix etc. Only downside was a bit of dust on kettle, but wiped it off. This place is in a really quiet village and although on the high street, never heard any traffic as very peaceful. Would have been nice to see menu for the pub downstairs in our room. Would stay again!

Stayed for one night on Thursday 7th April. Room was very nice and had all we required and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a evening meal in the bar which was very nice. I would recommend the home made steak and ale pie to anyone. Would definitely stay here again in the future. Thanks

Went here for mothersday and was really lovely. The staff are very kind, portion sizes are generous, although the roast slices were quite thin, but that's just a personal gripe. The starters were really nice, and mains were above average and tasty. They use a lot of local suppliers which is always great to see. Menu choices are plentiful without being overwhelming and a good diversity to satisfy any patron.Bathrooms are very clean and absolutely beautiful. Lots of sanitizer stations and also dog friendly! Finally the lovely staff gave every lady that ate a box of chocolates for mothers day. The smiles this put on their faces and the kindness shown was incredible. Will be returning. Thankyou rose and crown for a lovely day.

Lovely pub with excellent food and charming staff. We took my elderly & disabled mother-in-law for Sunday lunch and everyone was so helpful - thank you. The dashunds are great characters too!

We stayed at The Rose and Crown for a 70th Birthday celebration. The pub was so comfortable we had trouble tearing ourselves away to go into Bath for our planned events. The food was great and the bedrooms very comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome while we were there and we’ll definitely go back!

Nice funky new decor but the food was a bit of a let down esp for the prices they are charging. My £16 pie was not properly heated through and I had to ask for it to be nuked. The shining carpet was a nice touch though.

Positives: room well equipped and clean, easy parking. Negatives: breakfast offered turned out to be just a cereal packet or a croissant left in a fridge (so we decided not to bother), and a ridiculously early checkout - 10am - with a steep £25 fee if you want to stay any later.
