Food was fine but the service in the takeaway is awful. It's like they genuinely don't want you there.*UPDATE* Food is consistently getting worse and the service is the same. Nearly £10 for this - better off going to a local pub.

Posh Fish n Chips! good fast service and the food was to a high standard nice choice of ciders, wines and beer’s.

After a lovely walk around the lake and up to Knoll Hill we treated ourselves to some fish & chips here. The chips were perfectly cooked, the batter on the fish was salty perfection and the curry sauce was a rich texture, not like a curry sauce you usually get at a fish & chip shop but delicious nonetheless. Sitting here in the sun with the view of the lake, eating our deep-fried delights was truly blissful.(N.B. This was absolutely a 5 star experience and we'd recommend it to anyone but we thought it was important for any beer-enthusiasts and vegetarians to point out two things 1. Infinity beer is available here! (Locally brewed beer company, although unfortunately they had run out when we visited) 2. I had the veggie battered sausage which was objectively delicious but was a bean/vegetable type sausage and not a fake-meat style sausage as I had been expecting. I still enjoyed it very much it but wanted to flag that for any other veggie sausage fans!)Absolutely loved our trip here, hope to come back some time soon!

The best fish and chips in and around Bristol (here or the Wapping Wharf site).Chips are crispy and fluffy, all the batter is gluten free and deliciously crunch, the fish is plump and fresh and the garlic crushed peas will turn even the most devoted mushy pea lover.If I lived close to either of these sites it would be a bit dangerous as I could eat them every day. Leave the picnic at home!

The food is OK, slightly better than average. Value for money is left wanting though, and the tables could have been cleaner considering the cost of food.The staff are super nice and accommodating.The location is perfect, and a new play park (not associated) which is really top notch. Don't forget to take some oats or seeds to feed the ducks, great for little ones.

A nice location with good food. The visit was for a celebration. The cafe is what we had booked and not the chippy, however there were no sandwiches or similar in offer for light lunches, simply fish and chip shop menu.The food was a good quality but not what we were after when we had booked

We booked in for Lunch on a Sunday.The view is definitely very special, and the sky is full of seagulls and the grass full of cute ducks.The food was definitely tasty and arrived pretty quick. Most of the staff were kind too.One extremely weird and awkward thing that happened is that we asked for the Wifi password while our food was being prepared (the data signal there is poor) and the waitress replied “I don’t know” and walked off… that was that. Did she come back with the password? Definitely not…We had to ask another waitress ourselves, and funny enough it was the easiest password anyway… so weird!

We went for lunch on a busy Thursday having previously booked a table. The fish and chips were good with an enormous quantity of chips but I do think the waitress could have been more friendly. She appeared to be somewhat grumpy. At this time of year car parking is plentiful and free.

Probably the worst chips I've ever had.. the portion size is terrible for the amount of money although its probably a blessing because you can't eat many anyway..Not fit for human consumption and even the seagulls turned their nose up at the chips.clearly a industry that's capitalised on its location and lack of competition so it can sell terrible food and get away with it.. avoid at all cost

Very fresh fish, chips were great and the fish cakes were close to perfection. The only downside was the fish itself was a little too over cooked on the day. Other than that it’s a great spot to sit outside and have some fish and chips while enjoying the weather and view.Tip: If you spend more than £7 at the place you receive £1 back on the parking. Not sure how long they’ll run this promotion for but it was a nice touch.
