I would have never expect to write “the best fish and chip of my life”!This was something else! The fish is so good and the process of frying so accurate that it does not look fried but it tastes like fried!Just amazing! A pleasant surprised

Must try when you come to this city!!Seafood was so fresh and delicious! Be sure to book in advance! I recommend The seafood platter to share, the signature prawn cocktail is definitely a good idea, the mussels were oh so meaty!Excellent presentation. Great service, friendly casual, good familiar background music too! No fuss, everyone is invited! We were a party of 8 and I think all things considered, top notch! Thank you TSS! Will definitely be coming back!

Had a wonderful meal at The Scallop Shell on Friday. The food was really fresh and delicious, with a great choice of specials displayed on the chalkboard. The only thing that let our visit down slightly was the service - we were left waiting to be seated when we arrived, and one waitress tried to bring us the bill before we’d even had our mains. We still enjoyed our meal, and would visit again as the food was amazing.

Honestly, the best fish and chips I've had yet! Cod loin was extremely fresh and the batter was crispy and not oily. I don't usually finish my plate of chips and mushy peas but I was surprised to be able to clear my plate (the portion was really big for me)! Definitely a must-go if you're in Bath ⭐️

Great reasonably fresh seafood and large portions! Every dish we had was so good but the most memorable for me were the scallops (had seconds!) and grilled skate wing. Divine.

This is the best Fish & Chip restaurant I have been to. The aesthetics of the interior were very nice. The staff seemed very pleasant. But most importantly, the food was tasty and well portioned. I would look forward to returning here.

Great seafood! It's nice to see they have skate wing! Although it grilled, the meat still very smooth and tender. The Scallop taste great, the skin is golden brown and it's still tender inside.

Fantastic seafood restaurant tucked away in Bath City centre. Family run, cosy atmosphere and bloody decent food - it was a brilliant date night. We started with an Oyster and scallop each followed by sea bass and cod (there is a chicken and vegetarian option as well).Everything tasted so fresh and delicate, it was well presented and very filling. Our only criticism was they don't accept cash but that's pretty common now a days

Good selection of seafood and the menu changes on availability of sourced fish. I would recommend booking as it can get quite busy here. The service was great with friendly waiters serving you. The food was served relatively quick and was also reasonably priced for the large dishes you get.The chips are well cooked, but do require seasoning to your taste with the salt (and vinegar) on the table. And the curry sauce was a little on the sweet side for my liking. But both of the fried fish we tried was perfectly cooked.
