Sotto Sotto in Bath and North East Somerset

A well worth dinning experience at this lovely Italian restaurant. Impeccable service, everyone so friendly. Venue was interesting...a cosy, built under the road arched dinning room. Food was superb. Tasty, perfectly cooked. Will definitely return!!!

Relaxing and elegant Italian restaurant located on the basement level Linguine with Gamberi (Shrimps) 13£ and Branzino (Sea Bass) 18£ were delicious! The staff was very kind and professional, especially our waiter Enrico! A gem in Bath, will come back for sure 🌟

It was okay, food was quite basic considering you pay £28 for a lamb main, cooked okay but no real wow flavours. The cannoli was the weirdest cannoli I've ever tasted, just bitter and no sweetness at all. Service was very friendly but we got our starters before our drinks.Don't really get the hype but maybe it was an off night

We went to Sotto Sotto for my birthday and it was amazing. The venue is lovely and the staff are fantastic. The food is absolutely delicious and authentic, highly recommended. My partner Chrissie hadn't been before but is definitely bringing her girlfriends here on their next night out!

Fettuccine alla crema di zucca.I love this pasta! The texture of texture was good and the salty sage was good with the sweet squash.Bruschetta ai gamberoni.The sauce was delicious with the prawns.Carré di agnello in crosta di pistacchiOne of my favourite dishes! The roasted lamb was cooked perfectly and tender without gamey lamb smell.Filetto di manzo con crema di funghiIt was good but a bit overcooked for me.Penne alla vodka.A simple and classic pasta. I preferred the sauce could be heavier.Risotto al Barbera con salsiccia e crema di Pecorino.It was tasty, I like the texture of the risotto.Tiramisu.The tiramisu was too sweet to me.Pannacotta al cioccolato fondente.The panna cotta was yummy, it was tasted a bit bitter not too sweet for me.Sotto Sotto is the most poult Italian restaurant in Bath. The price is acceptable and the service is also friendly.

A wonderful itallian restaurant tucked away in the romantic city of Bath. The experience made even more wonderful by possibly the owner/manager himself, Mr. Carlo.Definite must try for all visiting Bath city but do make a reservation in advance because they get busy & have limited capacity in their intimate restaurant.Thank you for the lovely meal once again.With love from Singapore,Wong family

Went for a special birthday celebration as a couple. It's a very lovely little place, the food was great and the service was flawless. Couldn't fault them at all. There was a slight issue with one our meals but the staff corrected that immediately with no fuss at all. Mistakes happen, it's how you deal with it that really matters. I recommend this restaurant and will definitely return when back in the area.

Wonderful ambience and setting inside the restaurant. The lighting helped highlight the unique setting of the restaurant.You need to take a number of steps down from street level to basement level restaurant, so please bare that in mind if you have some mobility issues.We went for a relatively light lunch where we shared a starter and a side, and had a pasta each. They also served us complimentary bread. The dishes were quite large and tasted nice.Service was quick and attentive. No service charge was automatically added to the bill like almost all other places do now, and no option of gratuity tip was forced on you while paying either. Think that made me want to give a tip more than at other places!

Amazing meal and beautiful wines. I had Prawn Bruschetta then Rack of Lamb and both were cooked perfectly. The service was top class too.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been too. Food was outstanding, staff fantastic. The atmosphere buzzing. The venue itself was so beautiful, never eaten anywhere like this and it made my trip to Bath so special.
