Thai Basil Restaurant in Bath and North East Somerset

This place is incredible. The food is so authentic and really delicious.It's very obvious that it's all homemade with care and love. The menu is great, vary varied with so many options to choose from. We had a set menu so we could try lots of things and every single morsel was delightful.And to top it all off the service was perfect.We highly recommend this place. It's hands down the best Thai I have ever had.(Sorry no photo as we were too busy enjoying the food)

Quite a nice Thai restaurant, well decorated and has the traditional Thai theme. Menu is quite large, plenty of vegetarian options. Also includes some more unusual Thai soup dishes.

Came here for a quick lunch and definitely coming back again for dinner. They have a set menu which really was fantastic. There is a wide selection of starters and mains and it was all really authentic. Portions are very generous and it was cooked to perfection by chef Jon Boy and served with a smile by server Mi. Furniture and decor is original Thai and they have created a real family atmosphere here.

Words cannot describe how delicious the food was!! Absolutely incredible! Tremendously friendly staff too! Deserves 7 stars!

Came here for Valentine's Day meal as the highlight of our stay in Bath. The food was superb. Had a set menu and every dish was excellent. The decor is so beautiful. The staff are friendly and attentive and even shared some of their secrets about Thai cooking!

I think this might be one of the best restaurants in bath. If you include the price to quality ratio, nothing comes close, if they doubled their prices, I’d still give it 5 stars. The curries are amazing, as are their duck dishes. The service quality is also great, feels very genuine.

Good lunchtime 2 course deal. Not bad at all, reasonably authentic. Service was great and ambience lovely, very Thai. Difficult to find good Asian food around Bath and I would come back here

Decided to eat out after a shopping trip so as not to get caught in rush hour traffic...so we ate early and were the only ones in the restaurant.Service was excellent and so was the food. Beef, chicken, prawns and squid were all beautifully cooked and tender.The first time we've eaten here despite being in and around Bath for numerous years. Will definitely return...maybe in conjunction with a Bath Rugby home game

An absolute hidden gem.Came to Bath as a weekend away for the family and wandered around looking for something a bit different.Came across the Thai basil and it doesn't look much from the outside - especially after trudging through the drizzle on a Friday evening in January.However we were absolutely blown away - friendly, helpful staff, a pleasant atmosphere and excellent food - tasty, generous quantities and a nice variety in the set menu.Would definitely recommend.

Firstly what an amazing restaurant! I love thai food and this place does not disappoint, the food was absolutely delicious!! Generous portion sizes and fresh ingredients. Also plenty of options for vegetarians.Lovely restaurant decor, nice, cosy and authentic feeling, staff were fab too.Will definitely be returning when next in the area.
